Looks like all of the folks who were going to show up for the tea party need to show up for the next city council meeting and let them know who pays their wages! Fight this. Don't bend over and don't talk defeat. That's what they want. IF we let them get away with this, we will forever lose more of our Constitution. The big difference in the lefties and us, is that they do it anyway! They don't care if they get arrested, and we sit around and whine about the problem.
Btw, does the Constitution say that during our "right to assemble" we must provide insurance? NO, I don't think so!! Do it anyway! If you get arrested, sue the city! It draws more attention to the problem that we are protesting. We better cowboy up and fight back or we're going to lose it all. JMHO!

I wonder how you would feel about the things you write if some Obama activists wanted us to pay for government costs associated with their gathering?

This is the same Governor that the GOP Establishment wants to get into the Senate. WE DON’T NEED HIM TO HOLD THE SEAT!!!!

The title of the posted article is misleading. It's a local government that is the cause of the stumbling blocks for the Tea Party organizers, not the Florida state government and not Governor Crist - at least not yet.

This is deprivation of civil rights under color of law, a violation of Federal Law.

I’m sickened that I must hope he wins reelection as Governor so he can sign the GOP legislature’s redistricting Bill.
He’d probably do less damage in the Senate (heir to McCain?) than as a big-state Governor.
I hope some brave conservative challenges this RINO in the primary for whatever office he seeks.

I will definitely be voting against him, which right now is the only reason to keep the R by my name.

Thanks for that reminder... I need to buy/order a Gadsden flag for the 4/15 Hartford, CT Tea Party.
Will you be participating in a FL Tea party on 4/15? I would imagine you'll get huge crowds like the one in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. You know, the crowd of about 6,000 angry taxpayers that the MSM totally ignored?

Hey Allegra!
Any Tea Parties in Baghdad? Might be a way for the local to learn more about the American ways of people power!
