Since that rhymed...isn’t that rap itself? And if it is isn’t it ah forget it.
Rap is to music as Ebonics is to the English Language...an abomination.
Lyrics to Ludacris' Obama rap song, "Obama Is Here":
"Hey... I'm back on it
like I just signed my record deal, yeah the best is here
The Bentley Coupe paint is drippin wet, it got sex appeal
Never shoulda hated, you never shoulda doubted him
With a slot in the President's iPod, Obama shouted him
Said I handled my biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer
Better yet put me in office, make me a Vice President
Hillary hated on you so that bitch is irrelevant
Now Jesse talkin slick and apologizin for WHAT~?!
If you said it then you MEANT it how you want it, head or gut
And all you other politicians tryin to hate on my man
Watch us win majority vote in every STATE on my man
You cain't stop what's 'bout to happen, we 'bout to make history
The first black President it's destined and it's meant to be
The threats ain't fazin us, the nooses or the jokes
Get off your ass black people it's time to get out and vote
Paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and just throw 'em like candy wraps
Cause what you talkin I hear nothin even relevant
And you the worst of all 43 Presidents
Get out and vote, or the end'll be near
And the world is ready for change cause Obama is here
YEAHHH! Cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change cause Obama is here
Yeahhhh, cause Obama is here
Say world is ready for change cause Obama is here
Hey!

'C' rap.
She's starting to come around.
I let her listen to my Rush 2112 and Deep Purple in Concert with the Royal Philharmonic.
I rarely hear any of this stuff better than grade C rap.
African-American music had a long illustrious run. But with hip-hop, they have finally produced some seriously bad music. And I mean bad as in not good. 50 Cent is a long way from Duke Ellington, or even Chuck Berry.
Rap ‘music’ is just one of the more visible symbols of a society rotting from the inside out.
Rap is ghetto garbage!
Rap is the national anthem of the Criminal Culture. They are thugs and criminals with agents- making a little ‘legal’ money off of the ignorant ‘tolerant’ non-thugs.
They come from the ghetto/thug/brutal culture and remain attached to it- evidenced by their frequent deaths by the very ‘culture’ they promote.
Case in point- Rhianna and Beyonce. Both beautiful girls, look classy, BUT, their taste is thug.
Ignorant, criminal trash- wandering shreds of human debris, as El Rushbo says.
I’d hoped rap would go the way of disco- but evidently the criminal class and mindset is too deeply rooted.
Then there are too many of the liberal ‘everything is good’ types who help them glorify the obscenity and violence of all things ‘thug’.
The best we can hope for is a rap Valentines Day massacre, a-la- the Mafia.
For what it’s worth, American citizens should be free to own both machine guns and silencers (without gov’t permission or ‘tax stamps’) under the Second Amendment.
Whatever T.I.’s failings, without him we wouldn’t have Weird Al’s excellent parody:

Rap “music” was invented by and for black guys that can’t sing. And mosts rap doesn’t have any actual musical instruments associated with it, except sampled bits played over and over.
Ever hear snoop-dog try to sing a genuine note? Dude be trippin’.
Everything else I've heard is total crap.
And "Hip hop" isn't even worth mentioning.
I wonder what the great black Jazz, R&B and Motown artists, individuals with REAL talent, think of (C)rap.
In light of the fact that race appears to trump all among many black Americans, maybe I shouldn’t ask....
OK, but from a very wrong messenger... ;)
This kind of thing needs to come from black jazz artists, who have every right to feel outraged by the damage rap culture has done.
I love real rap music from the 80’s.
Run DMC was/is great and Rev. Run is awesome.
And I don’t know how effective a conservative message is if we’re going to promote shooting people we disagree with...
And he's making money doing a legitimate profession. He owns his own record label. Who cares about his past?
Heres the thing: no matter how many hours of community service T.I. does, it will never make up for the crap he puts into the minds of his listeners.
And I could say the same thing about rock and country music. Where was this author at when Marilyn Manson was spewing neo-Satanic crap and promoting a goth culture among suburban white teens?
