He passed peacefully around 11 am with his step son and step daughter by his side. I got the call from his step-son, but have just been able to calm myself to let all of you know. Please share your thoughts, prayers, or a favorite story of Ray.
Prayers for the family.
May he rest in peace in the arms of his Lord and Savior.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
I bet after Tator’s done talking with Jesus and his loved ones who now reside in Heaven, he’s going to head over and have a very long conversation with the Founding Fathers.
I’m so sorry to hear this sad news.I remember his posts from a long time back...
Thank you for letting us know.
His family and friends will be in my prayers.
Tator is already safe in the arms of the Lord and free of all pain and sorrow, so our prayers are now for you, Lisa, who loved him.
May he rest in peace.
(I just posted on the other thread before seeing this.)
Prayers and comfort to Tator and his family and friends. ^()^
Man, who didn’t have an exchange with the Tator at one time or another over the years?
What a great guy, one of the anchors of FR. His passing is a knife to the soul.
RIP Ray.
I’m so sorry to hear that. God bless all of you as you go on with your lives without him.
My heart is sad :0(
I will miss you Tator ... my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
Party for the President, April 29, 2004. Five years ago tomorrow. That is the way I will remember Ray. It was a good day. Rest in Peace Brother.
May Ray be at peace with the Lord.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us Ray, and thank you for his ability to share his talents and wisdom with us. Please hold his family members, and those who loved him in Your Arms of comfort, and may Your Presence be tangible to those who are hurting at this time. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Prayers
Ray was a survivor from the class of 98 and boy did we ever have a good time, especially during the Clinton years.
Ray was a wise gentleman and well respected here on FR. We can't hope to fill the void he left. He was one of a kind.
Our sincere condolences to his loving family, Spectre and Wife
Wow...sorry to hear about this. Prayers to family and loved ones.
We will miss our FRiend Ray, CommonTator.
God bless his family and friends.
Rest in peace Ray. Your commentary was so helpful in leading other to understand the reality of the political process. Prayers of comfort for your family.
Lisa, I am so sorry for your and Ray’s family’s loss, and FR’s loss, as well. It’s a sad but yet glorious day .. may he rest in peace, and you who knew him best and loved him find comfort.
Loved his posts. Often humorous and always right. Had he been ill? This seems so sudden. God must have work for him to do in heaven.
