JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. The Missouri Highway Patrol this week retracted a controversial report on militia activity and will change how such reports are reviewed before being distributed to law enforcement agencies.
The Highway Patrol also will open an investigation into the origin of the report, which linked conservative groups with domestic terrorism and named former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.....

This is the SECOND time they have used Missouri as their laboratory to impose outright fascist tactics. Both times they backed away from it after it didnt float, but it wont be the last time authoritarian strategies will be tried/used by this administration.

Uh, what? They don’t know who wrote the report they had in hand, or who issues their orders?

They don't know who issued their own report?

Would the first time have been during the election when it was proclaimed that anybody spouting anything unflattering about Obama would be prosecuted?

They should do a study showing a correlation between stupid voters and Democratic politicians.

Here's something else to consider... they figure they have Iowa and some other midwest states in the bag so to speak. If they can get some conservatives to move out of Missouri then they can chalk it up as all blue.

"They don't know who issued their own report? " Oh, they know alright - they've probably been reassigned "laterally" to another position...

During their investigation, they should pay particular to the memo line that reads: “FROM”.

"What a bad joke this thing was."Actually, believe it or not, ultimately it was a good thing -- a wake up call that resulted in a small victory.
Some people who have not been following all of this as we have, went, "Wow! What the heck is going here?" and spoke up. Hopefully, they won't go back to dozing off too soon!
