During an emotional moment at the Dallas Women's Museum, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison praised Hillary Rodham Clinton for "keeping a confident face" during the 2008 presidential campaign when "you were getting so many disappointments."
"You were completely devastated and you never let it show on your face," Hutchison said during the forum. "That character is why you are secretary of state today."

If you think about it that was kind of a “back” handed compliment.

Isn’t it funny how Hillary may be the most conservative person in the Obama administration.

eeech ... the sameness of the political establishment and the direction of travel to tyranny is getting worrisome.
I would think Texans, I am one of those, would want someone stronger to lead their state. I never saw Hutchison as a strong willed leader type.

Unfortunately, Governor Perry is not particularly strong-willed either.

"That character is why you are secretary of state today."That lack of character by you, the TOTUS who nominated you, fawning enablers like Kay is why you are Sociopath of State today.

Kay is as close to a RINO that it gets...
Prediction: The people will NEVER vote for her as governor of the great state of Texas.
Time to throw in the towel....woman!
The Republican Party would be wise to heed this advice, "Do NOT attempt to force her on us...it will not work!"

KBH could have been talking about Bill’s impeachment as well.
You’re right; it’s a back-handed compliment.

She's praising Clinton while mocking Palin!Lone Star Times reports that U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchisons website has posted a copy of a Texarkana Gazette editorial mocking Gov. Rick Perry for having received Sarah Palins endorsement:
Palin has a certain cachet among conservatives.
But Lord, have mercy, she is an outsider with an opinion about Texas politics and government. And she sounds like the Yankee she is, if we use the definition that Yankees come from north of the Red River.
If Perry relies too heavily on Palin, he may find himself with a lot of time to watch Russians from her front porch come January 2011.RedState
