YouTube star summoned to White House?
WorldNetDaily ^ | 03/26/2009

The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.

Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the "Common Sense" pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.

Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

Yes Anitius, we need to watch this very carefully. Basso may not realize it, but when and if he continues to stand up in opposition to Obama, his life will be in danger.

That is how fascism works. Basso could verty easily have a car accident, or suddenly contract a dose of ebola virus, or bird flue.

Obama has likely made the assassination option available to himself already, as years ago many presidents had, by signing a simple finding of an individual threat to the United States of America.

In that meeting, It is my most fond patriotic wish that Dr. Basso does not blink. Is there a way we can contact Dr. Basso to show him our support?

I agree, this may be the spark that begins the preservation movement of America.

Is the guy gonna get an offer he can’t refuse? Is that what happened to Joe the Plumber? Joe could’ve parlayed his one excellent question into something bigger than himself. Yet he disappeared from the stage. It’s odd...

No, the GOP became corrupt, favored open borders, big government, and big government spending, spending the U.S. into a financial abyss. Simply put, they had no leadership

Guess what. I agree with that statement. They also ran a terrible campaign.

If what you say is true, implying the electoral college will save America from favoring highly populated, socialistic, liberal big cities etc.......How is it we ended up with Obama?

As I already stated, I never said the electoral college would save us from socialism. I said that it gives the middle of the country a say in the election. Otherwise, only a few select states would dictate every presidential election.

Here is a USA Electoral Votes map.

Now here is a Map of the United States Population. As you can see, there are many states with a much smaller number of people. Those states would be ignored in a presidential election that's determined by a popular vote. The fewer states with higher numbers of voters might even be able to vote property and rights away from the people in the states with fewer people. With the popular vote, we might find ourselves in an even worse position than we do today. (I'm using the term, "we", in a general sense. I live in a densely populated state, yet I still don't want the popular vote.)

Also, the electoral system is written into our Constitution. And, again, without it, a close election like the one in 2000 would result in court challenges, not only in one state, but in precinct after precinct.

zero wants a nation of white slaves to pay America back for its black slavery

Obama (and the Democrats and apparently some Republicans) wants everyone in the service of the government. In other words, if this plan works out the way it looks like it will, we'll ALL be enslaved, in one way or another. Some will work in "community service", while others pay for it.

It will be interesting to watch it all play out when his supporters are required to sweep the streets. ;-)

Obama probably sees this man as his ally.

OK, this is "Tired of Taxes" position on the two video messages here.

No problem.

I referred to the other video and what Basso said in that one. The fact is, the popular vote and mandatory service are Democrat/Obama ideas. I’m not the only person saying so.

Btw, we don’t even know if this story is true, yet. That Obama has invited this man to the WH could be a rumor that isn’t true.
