The next attack on the 2nd Amendment is beginning....
There is NO way that many “assault weapons” have been sold in the US to go down to Mexico.
Buy your ammo now folks.. its going to be gone soon.

And if you believe that.....

The weapons are coming from the Mexican military, not the United States. But hey,
never waste a good crisis when you can use it to advance your own personal agenda. Mexico's problems can probably be used as an excuse to enact all kinds of leftist legislation here. "Hey, it's not our fault that we have to do this - it's all because of Mexico."

Cute. Mind you, that dodges the question of how much crime actually was committed with this vague category of firearm - it was microscopic. You might just as well say that the once the police were no longer worried about being strafed with attack helicopters they could concentrate on their jobs better.
What did happen was that a lot of states went to "shall-issue" conceale carry laws. Funny how that didn't come up.

On the plane to Mexico City, Clinton said drug gangs were "outgunning" Mexican law enforcement with military-style equipment that also included night-vision goggles and body armor.I'm really tired of this canard.
If they are outgunned it is because the Government refuses to arm their cops. Also, since Mex. has no posse comitatus the military can do some of the fighting.
Mexico's mistake is to continue to treat this as a police matter and not a military matter. This is an internal war and needs to be treated as such.

"I think these assault weapons, these military style weapons, don't belong on anyone's street,"
If you haven't joined the GOA, NRA and your State/Local Gun Rights Group, you should do so immediately. Everyone including your family and friends must get in the upcoming fight or you will suffer the same fate as (the former) Great Briton, Australia and a number of other countries who lost their weapons and in the end their god given rights.
After the government stripped them of their weapons they are now basically stripped of the remaining rights, just look at the U.K. and you will see what is coming here... Get in the Fight before the fight comes to you!

Are the Border Control orgs going to continue to accept the Obama administration crapping on them with these lies? I mean, if so many illegal weapons are crossing the border from North to South, the Border Control must have allowed it.
Is there any evidence of a large number of North to South border crossers, especially those carrying long packages?
Or are the Obamites saying the weapons are getting in at entry points, right in front of border agents?

"I think these assault weapons, these military style weapons, don't belong on anyone's street," said Clinton who pushed for the ban as a New York senator. "During the time period from 1994 to 2004, when the ban was in effect, our police in America were able to drive crime down because they didn't have to worry about these assault weapons getting into the hands of criminals and gang members," the chief US diplomat said.
What a lying b***h. "Legal" "assault" weapons are rarely on the street. They're in normal civilians homes, or on the range, or in the field. "Assault" weapons sold legally, rarely end up in the hands of criminals or gang members. The vast majority of LEGALLY owned "assault" weapons have rarely been used in a crime.
If crime went down during the period stated, it was NOT BECAUSE of the "assault" weapons ban.
A cop would have to be a complete imbecile, to think that after any type of weapons ban were inacted, he were automatically safer.

Didn’t the US train and equip elite drug interdiction units of the Mexican Military? And haven’t a lot of these people opted for higher pay by working for the drug cartels (probably using US taxpayer funded weapons)?
