The linked article is in a paper I've never heard of, but that doesn't mean what they discuss can be dismissed. If you simply dismiss it, that will not in any way have an impact on those who take the article or the issue seriously. So, simply dismissing it is counter-productive.

Rather, I suggest that FReepers work together to try to figure out ways to undercut the issue raised in the article. Please come up with actual solutions (not jokes).

You can check out its board of directors on the website. One of them is a “community organizer,” and we all know that means. We should proudly support her candidacy. So, obviously, the MSM takes them seriously. And, those who aren’t familiar with these issues will simply hear “hate group” and decide to vote for her opponent.

I’m not suggesting trying to change the minds of the true believers. I’m suggesting trying to blunt the impact they have on the undecideds and the like. There’s a big difference.

You can dismiss the true believers, but you can’t dismiss the impact they’ll have on those who are on the fence.
