They apparently met through a Craigslist ad for “violent sex” and the young man says he stabbed Weber in his Brooklyn apartment Friday night during a “violent, drug-fueled assault.” The Daily News says police got on the trail by looking through Weber’s home computer and cellphone records. Investigators believe George was killed Friday night, the victim of knife wounds all over his body. He had most recently been doing weekend anchor work for ABC News Radio, and before that had spent most of a decade at WABC, New York (770). WABC PD Laurie Cantillo says there may be a memorial service in the city. The family is planning services back in his native Pennsylvania, where he started in radio at age 16. The family says “we are devastated by the loss of George – Jordy, to us. He was truly a caring person who loved and was loved by all he met.”

My own speculation is the “youth” had been molested at an early age and took this opportunity to go postal on an available target.

I would like to see a count of homosexual perverts that work in media......BRINGING us political news, and information everyday for the last 40 years.
Well, I’ll say it. This just goes to show what a terrible disorder being gay so often is.
I’ve known a number of gay people in my time. Some of them were friends. Many of them are in other respects very nice people.
One of my colleagues once got stabbed by a gay sex partner in the stomach. As it happens, he was NOT a friend, I really didn’t like him much or agree with him about most matters, but it just goes to show that “respectable” gays can get into big trouble because of their problem.
Quite a number of Freepers in the earlier threads said that George Weber was a good guy, and I believe he probably was in most respects. Except for this mental disorder and his willingness to give in to it.
So, “hate the sin but love the sinner.” This was a very sad business. And also, it’s a warning about what happens when the culture treats this disorder as if it was perfectly normal.
From this picture it looks like somebody already disrespected his nose, big time.
When counting firearms-related deaths, they're children. When they kill a member of a protected class, they're adults.
I remember him well here in Denver from years ago.
He recently started doing a remote show here on Sundays as well.
I don’t recall him ever projecting his sexual preference, but he very clearly did not like the liberal/socialist approach to government.
Maybe his shows were different in NYC, though.
