Oakland shooter unable to escape cycle of violence By JULIANA BARBASSA 2 hours ago OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Lovelle Mixon died at 26, hiding in an apartment, shot by police during a gun fight that left four officers dead and stunned a city already plagued by violence. Court records show a lifetime of wrong turns spent largely behind bars. Family members, angry and upset after their loss, describe Mixon as an deeply frustrated young man who likely snapped under the weight of opportunities missed or denied.

Yeah, I had the same problem trying to break the cycle of having a few beers and watching the Cowboys play. I didn’t want to break the cycle.
Missed opportunities. When he stole those six Playstations from Target, there were eight Wii stations in the very next aisle! What a wasted opportunity!
And when he raped that twelve-year-old girl, he didn't notice her 9-year-old sister in the next room! Such a shame to have such an opportunity denied!
Damned good observation.
And these thugs will populate the new NCCC army of brownshirts.
Despite the fact that his DNA has been linked to 5, possibly 6 rapes, including one victim of only 12.
But it’s not his fault...

Dr. Dobson Introduces The Truth Project*
Dr. James Dobson introduces Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project, and Dr. Del Tackett tells more about it.
Dear Friends:
I want to share something with you today that is a source of excitement for the entire staff here at Focus on the Family. Our enthusiasm is centered on a new $2 million DVD production featuring the work and teachings of Dr. Del Tackett, president of our Focus on the Family Institute. This 12-part series, titled Focus on the Family’s The Truth ProjectTM, opens and explains the Scriptures in a way rarely equaled. Since I had little to do with its creation, I can tell you with complete candor that God’s ordination appears to be on this production. I was literally in tears this morning as Shirley and I watched the DVDs and heard Dr. Tackett talk passionately about the eternal verities found in the Word. He went on to illustrate how they provide ultimate answers to every question posed by the great philosophers of history. I’m confident that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will come alive for you, as well, as Del weaves together the central theme of “Truth” throughout the series.
Mixon was SHOT by police during...
...an incident that left 4 officers dead.
Apparently NO ONE actively killed them, they just got dead somehow during the incident.
How about: Mixon shot and killed 4 police officers and left several wounded as he instigated a running gun battle with police which resulted in his death.
Wouldnt THAT be a better, more fair, assessment of the situation?
Obviously you are an right wing nut with no compassion! (Do I need a sarcasm tag?)

Mixon's younger sister, Enjoli Mixon, 24, said a small makeshift memorial with flowers and a small angel had grown near the apartment where she lived, and where her brother was shot.
Local residents walked by, some snapping pictures, others shaking their head.
"I don't understand why anybody is supporting him," said Rick Schiller, 61. "I'm trying to understand the sympathy for him."
That explains a lot, doesn’t it?
No they won't. They have neither the discipline to follow orders nor the intelligence to carry them out. They'll remain what they've always been; criminal predators and thugs possessing IQs in the 70s, unemployable, violent, living for the moment and rotating in and out of prison while siring children during their brief bouts of freedom. They'll contribute nothing to society, only to steal, vandalize, destroy, main, kill and reproduce.
Sarc-—It wasn’t Lovelle Mixon’s fault that he killed those cops. It was the fact that he wasn’t getting enough welfare, was spanked as a child, lost in sports, wasn’t dated by the prom queen, was treated too harshly by the prison system, was harassed by the racist system, and the fact that the gun caused him to kill the cops. /sarc
This is sarcasm. Too bad, many liberals (Especially social workers and activists) would actually say this. Mixon should have been locked up.
LOL! Love it!!!
Guys of this type are exactly the sort who were the core of Hitler’s SA.
Their rival, the SS, was composed of much more with-it types, as far as competence goes, anyway.
