Watch Sarah Palin's excellent address at the Alaska GOP Lincoln Dinner. There were quite memorable quotes here!
Don't miss these five videos:
Playlist of Governor Sarah Palin's Lincoln Dinner Address on March 20, 2009.
You are both on the ping now.
Honestly, I just don't "get" the people in our "party" that feel Palin is somehow "less than correct" for being President - they are holding onto that Curic interview like Charlton Heston never wanting to give up his guns (prying from my cold dead hands - remember?).
Palin is smart and knows how to negotiate and win...NOT TO MENTION...she knows how to actually talk to REAL people - go figure!
I wish more would give her a break. It's so sad to realize WE have an elitist section to OUR "party."
Bump.
Pinging myself for lunchtime viewing.
bump
The Country Club GOP elitists were always dominant, except when Reagan rode through.
Governor Palin will do likewise and put to shame the aristocrats whether R or D.
Not getting any sound on the videos. Anyone else having that problem? Other utube vids play just fine.
The sound is there, but rather low. Tune up your volume on both the video and on your computer and speakers.

adding to ping list, must see
Another excellent speech, and without a teleprompter. I still think she could make some serious money teaching 0bama how to keep from looking like he’s watching a slow motion tennis match.
I believe that once she starts coming to the lower 48 for various speaking engagements, and events over the next few years, there will be a real groundswell of support, that will prove unbeatable.
Yeah right!!!!! I wish there was a Palin cable channel!!!!!
NordP, you’re 100% correct. Many people think Palin’s not very bright because they think of the Tina Fey impersonation of “I can see Russia from my house.” Palin never said that and if anyone bads on her in front of me, I’ll invite them to wtch John Ziegler’s DVD showing the press biases toward Zerobama and against Governor Palin. If they still choose to think she’s less-than-qualified it’ll be because of their own biases and they can’t say “but I didn’t know.”
Palin ‘12!
Since I also share (or used to) the same general accent to my voice, I know that people tend to look down on those that speak "Fargo-esque." As much as people do not want to admit it, too many episodes of "Golden Girls" where Rose was the sweet village idiot; and as I mentioned before, too many that saw the movie "Fargo" have formulated their opinions of those from the North. Like or or not, those that speak with our accent have the permanent casting of "stupid" as our mental profile. To me...having come from the North, I KNOW nothing could be further from the truth. Never assume the loving decency of naivety to equal stupidity. I wouldn't trade all the honesty-innocence and superb work ethic I was brought up with for all the designer dresses, beautiful homes, hot cars, and lavish lifestyles you could ever give me. I believe this IS EXACTLY the kind of people we NEED in government...and we need them so badly.
I hope Sarah will do us all the honor of the gift of decency she could bring to this Nation.
Ping to watch outside the Palin-hating firewall, thanks.
Thanks for posting this. I was hoping some video would come out on this event. I LOVE her Piper story ... so endearing. Governor Palin just makes sense.
I don’t know if you’re planning another thread, but I found these as well.

I couldn’t find part 10 just yet.
Thanks for those extra parts. I love the speech (from what I could hear). Too bad the AK GOP counldn’t get some better audio, at least.
here’s a very fun NCAA brackets Republican politicians poll over at NPR. It looks like some people are in there voting against Gov. Palin. Here’s the link:
