My friend Ken Marrero, aka the Blue Collar Muse, reports on conservative/libertarian profiling. Have an inappropriate bumper sticker on your car and the cops are warned that you might be a threat.
Writes Ken:
Missouri State Police have been alerted to be on the lookout for subversive drivers who may be domestic terrorists or members of militia groups. How can Missouri Law Enforcement know the car in front of them might be carrying dangerous people? Why from their bumper stickers of course!
Among the bumper stickers listed as indicative of dangerous, anti-Americans behind the wheel are those supporting Ron Paul or other 3rd party candidates, the Gadsden flag, opposition to the North American Union, opposition to the President's Mandatory Service agenda, the right to Keep and Bear arms and belief that the States are sovereign. All these and more are "identifiers" common to militia movements across the nation and should alert law enforcement to be cautious when dealing with occupants in cars displaying them.
In fact, they are told such people often consider police the enemy. To be fair, the report doesn't claim that all people who hold such views are automatically terrorists bent on shooting cops at traffic stops. However, if you have such stickers on your vehicle in Missouri, tensions just went WAY up.
Sounds like a great case for the ACLU to take on. You know, individual freedom, civil liberties, and all that stuff.

Any time there is an accidental discharge from a weapon, there will be an investigation. Most individual soldiers will never be exposed to being the one to decide if a order is lawful. That will be done by the commanders and staff.
If it came down to the individual soldier, I doubt many would fire on civilians. If we were under marshal law, I feel a large number would refuse to report for duty.
That’s what they get. People in MO wanted a “New Nixon”, and they got him.
BARACK OBAMA IS A MUSLIM bumper sticker - will that land you in jail in Missouri?

NOTE: this is info from a previous thread, but I thought the phone call to the prosecutor's office was important enough for its own thread.
KMOV VIDEO - THREAT OF PROSECUTION FOR TELLING "LIES" ABOUT OBAMA
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!
I just called county prosecutor Bob McCulloch's office. I spoke with his secretary Cindy.
DFU: I saw the KMOV piece last night regarding the lies being told about Barack Obama. It is about time someone is doing something about this. Last night I saw a bumper sticker that said BARACK OBAMA IS A MUSLIM. I asked the guy about it and where he got it, and I think I may know the printer in St. Louis who is printing that bumper sticker. When I can verify the information, would Mr. McCulloch like to have that information?
CINDY: In light of what Mr. McCulloch has said, I would gather that would be something he would need to know.
roflmao, its amazing when they can’t defend their position against the facts thrown at them.....
We don’t have to obey an unlawful order as in arresting or firing on civilians.
America loving Patriots have never doubted you guys!
I stopped by a Starbucks just the other day.
When I came out, there was a police officer furiously scribbling out a parking ticket. I jokingly remarked about how busy a day he must be having to stake out a Starbucks.
The officer let me know, with a glaring stare, that I just cost myself another ticket, this time for a cracked lens.
I told him I was retired, with plenty of time on my hands, and appreciated any opportunity to enjoy the excitment of our court system as it would get me out of the house.
The officer advised that he was happy to help, and started writing out a third ticket for wearing white past labor day, or something.
After questioning whether his mother ever actually married his father, he stuck a fourth ticket under the windshield wiper, got in my face, and convinced me that I had ridden this horse further than I needed to.
I smiled, thanked him, and wished him a safe & happy good day. I knew that I was going to have one.
You see, I had ridden the bus that morning. Besides, that car had an 'Obama/Biden' sticker on the bumper.
I’ve had the urge to put the Gadsden Flag back out. Spring being here and all.
My truck proudly displays both an NRA sticker and a Remington Arms sticker. I think that qualifies me for police harrassment as a potential militia member/domestic terrorist.
Good start, but if you want to move up the list you need one of these:
I proudly display one of those on my bumper, along with my NRA sticker.
The liberal fascists can go screw themselves.
LOL! Too funny!
Well, yesterday, I was at TDA_666 house and his bumper sticker was great. It said:
“I’ll keep my guns, freedom and money. You can keep the “change”.
It is still making me chuckle today.
“If it came down to the individual soldier, I doubt many would fire on civilians. If we were under marshal law, I feel a large number would refuse to report for duty.”
I hope this is all academic, but what would happen to them if they refused to fire as ordered, or to report for duty?
Reference your post #57:
After reading it twice. It sounds exactly like an obama voter to me.
LMAO!!!!!!!
What you just posted, is why those stupid brainless political commercials are on at election time.
Many voters have no clue at all.
A 3rd grade level political commercial will affect their thinking.
Not the informed electorate that our Founders intended for us.
I have heard repeated stories about these police being told to profile (hey Leftists, remember that word) Conservatives and Libertarians. I also saw a handout allegedly given to police stating pretty much that all who oppose Obama and his plans are terrorists and subversives.
Nothing like this happened to ACT/ANSWER/MOVE-ON/WWP etc. but then, they were loudly projecting their desires as President Bush’s policies.
And now there is no veil of projection any longer.
[I also intend to play conservative talk radio quite a bit louder this Spring and Summer.]
That’ll probably get you arrested for disturbing the peace.
