The guy dosn’t have to worry about money. No matter how bad things get, he still gets his wagu beef and his Wednesday evening parties. He runs on the taxpayer’s dime, he dosn’t care where they get it, he’s got his.

"...There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.

It's only "gallows humor" when you think that hope is lost. That would be a change...

I believe we are starting to witness a man becoming totally overwhelmed and going into an emotional implosion. He’ll be fanning his lips soon. This man is far too immature and inexperienced to be POTUS.

Biden better get in the batter’s box and God help us.

He is afraid. Although I have not seen the clip, I think it is probably a nervous laugh.

He is beginning to realize how under equipped he is for the job and how poorly things are going for him.

I am willing to bet that he will make some ultimate power grabs soon to ensure he can not be removed or defeated in an election. I am not saying it will work, but he will try something.

Obama's in way over his head. He was the most liberal member of the Senate, and the Libs wanted to push him through to the Presidency. Which they did. And now even the Libs are embarrassed by him. By his lack of... well, everything. Diplomacy, tact, a world view, knowledge of economics, articulateness... And on and on. I've never seen the Libs turn on their own before.

Makes me wonder if it will all be over for him in 4 years. If that's the case, I think Romney is our best chance for defeating him in 4 years. Not Huckabee, with his delusions of grandeur.

He should be laughing. He was able to take advantage of an economic crisis caused by his own party to promote a much more extreme version of the anti-market, pro-big government economic agenda that caused the crisis in the first place.

I noticed the same kind of laughter from a number of the Dem talking heads right after Zero’s election: Lanny Davis, in particular, when he was on FOX. I saw it as a two-edged sword, expressing on the one hand a kind of cocky confidence and swagger that they’d finally gotten what they’d wanted, and the accompanying easygoing contempt for the “losers”, and on the other hand a kind of barely concealed nervousness that they’d ‘inherited’ a situation they KNEW they’d “also” created, and had NO REAL PLAN to rectify, or get out of, or really bring the country back to economic health. This post indicates it’s finally reached their Idiot Figurehead , Obama. Everybody is a little incredulous at who this man is turning out to be, and this kind of thing seems to go on in fits and starts every single day, proving just how insulated the New Rulers have made themselves even from the MSM that was instrumental in getting them elected. I , along with millions of others, DON’T want to have to say “We told you so!”, we just want all of them OUT!

Another revealing window into his soul.

What the Teleprompter-in-Chief is really laughing at is the American people. He laughs at the people who work hard to have a home, feed their families, and try to be the best they can be. He is laughing at us, the people who make the country work. He has never held an honest hardworking job in his life. It's no wonder he has no concept of real hardworking Americans and their daily lives. He looks down on people that are not in his elite world.

Remember what he said in San Fran during the campaign last April to an elite - an very wealthy - audience: "You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

There's no surprise he would crack cruel jokes about the Special Olympics or laugh at economic despair. It's who he is.

As Rush says, he is waging a war against the successful on behalf of life's losers; it's all about getting even with them. He's got a huge chip on his shoulder. He let it out again last night.

Emergency work can be distressing but humor is a coping strategy which contributes to emergency workers’ adjustment to difficult, arduous and exhausting situations.

Humour enhances communication, facilitates cognitive reframing and social support, and has possible physical benefits.

The Democrats WANT things to be dire so we will accept SOCIALIST change.

What the F*** did people THINK they were getting last November?

This was a velvet revolution. Nothing the Democrat leadership has said has been for any continuation of the way “things” were in this country. Capitalism is being cast off and the shackles of Communism are being put in place.

I personally would have much better days when NObama is on first hand basis with the gallows, and we all could then be in a better humor, watching the economy rebound.
