Yes, she gave up a lucrative legal career (avg $120k) to go into “public service” (where she “earned” > $300k).
Her salary just happened to geometrically increase as her husband’s political career took off.

I also have an Upper Midwestern accent and the blacks around my area also mock me for it. However, when I’m with my GF, we mock them back with fake sounding Ebonics and pretty much make them feel like uneducated twits. It’s funny to watch. Especially when they get violent and then realize that I carry pepper spray.
