Science or creation? Thou art too nosy

This week, the Globe and Mail asked Science Minister Gary Goodyear, a chiropractor, if he believed in evolution.
None of your beeswax, he replied.
"I am a Christian, and I don't think anybody asking a question about my religion is appropriate."
Well, the primordial ooze hit the fan.
Scientists roasted Goodyear. Is this why the feds have cut research funding? Does Ottawa figure it's cheaper to read the Bible?
Fumed one: "It's the same as asking the gentleman, 'Do you believe the world is flat?' and he doesn't answer on religious grounds."
No, it's not the same. We can bloody well see the world is round. But I can't look at an ape and see myself.
You could say that God made Conservatives and only Liberals come from apes.

Fumed one: "It's the same as asking the gentleman, 'Do you believe the world is flat?' and he doesn't answer on religious grounds." No, it's not. Not nearly the same thing at all; he just knows when he's being baited.
Sometimes half the fun is watching the meltdown because you won't play along.
Evos and scientists don't realize how stupid they look to the general public when they make comparisons like that.

On the other hand, any human who looks at himself is seeing an ape, since humans are apes, by definition. My ancestors were human, sorry about yours.

God created Science. Science isn't a thing. God created the universe. Man invented the scientific method to investigate it.

Sorry, but you don’t get to define who is a Christian.
That’s above your pay level.

Apparently, the issue of how he does his job doesn’t even enter into it; we’ve heard no criticism of that. All that matters is his belief system.
Talk about dogmatic.....

It helps to study the classics!
I wonder what the Canadian complainers think the “Science Minister” would do differently if he were a believer in Darwinism. Maybe this is really about the government’s funding research and other potential consumption of aborted babies.

Sorry, but you dont get to define who is a Christian. Thats above your pay level. Then that means that by default, you do, because you must have some criteria that you use to define *Christian* if you think that his isn't valid.
You just aren't accepting HIS definition.

The Priests used an early form of Science to make beer. They needed a system to develop consistency. Later scientists wrote down a few agreed upon rules to use the method. Now they have added another step called politics such as global warming hoax science.
