Earlier today, Pelosi reiterated her earlier comments, saying:

"About a week and a half ago, Congressman (Luis Gutierrez) was in San Francisco on a Saturday night. We were packed and jammed in St. Anthony's Church, hundreds and hundreds of people came. We heard from families who have had raids into their homes and into their families where families were separated. And at the time, I said it there and I'll say it here, that raids that break up families in that way, just kick in the door in the middle of the night, taking father, a parent away, that's just not the American way. It must stop. It's just not the American way. So we need this comprehensive reform, and we need it soon. And we need to stop those kinds of ICE raids in the meantime... ...Every person who comes here and certainly for the Hispanic community, when they come here they make America more American..."

Please go to one of her appearances and point out that she's trying to replace our immigration laws with the "Pelosi Rule": anyone who comes here and has a child gets to stay.

Man gets 10-year sentence for Beach machete attack

VIRGINIA BEACH

An illegal immigrant convicted of striking a restaurant security guard in the head with a machete was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison.

Circuit Judge A. Bonwill Shockley confirmed jurors’ recommendation that Marlon Ivan Granados-Umana of Honduras serve 10 years in prison for the July 12 attack outside Jalisco, a restaurant on Virginia Beach Boulevard.

At today’s hearing, Granados-Umana, 25, again denied being the man who swung the machete and struck the bouncer.

Shockley, however, agreed with jurors, who had reached their verdict in less than an hour. Several witnesses testified during the trial that Granados-Umana committed the attack after guards ordered him and his friends out of the restaurant for groping women in a bikini contest.
