No official announcement yet, but as a radio insider, I can tell you that Mike Huckabee will replace Paul Harvey's News & Comment starting Monday, March 23rd. ABC's Gill Gross and Doug Limerick have been doing the show for the last two weeks.

I like Paul Harvey, Jr. Why wouldn’t he be doing the show?

Paul Harvey Jr. is the best choice IMHO.

Huckabee wouldn't make a pimple on Paul Harvey's ass!

He's so annoying I wish he was taken completely off the air.

Good question. I don't know the answer to that.

Good. That means he’ll be rich and NOT running for President.

My local AM station has already dropped the Paul Harvey time slots. We're getting Fox News reliably at the top of each hour. While Paul Harvey was alive, the station played his commentary 9:50 AM to 10:04 AM, 12:00 noon to 12:05, 2:00 PM to 2:05 and 5 PM to 5:05. A local talk host had his morning show extended to fill the 9:50 to 10 AM slot. That's perfectly fine. Reliable hourly news is more valuable to me.

Yuckabee.

We don't need this Elmer Gantry on the air in Mr. Harvey's place!

Anything to keep him out of politics.

He’s the reason 0bama is president now and not Mitt Romney.
And we all know that what America needed right now was Mitt Romney, not the clown 0bama.

Now - before you go off the deep end...

Paul Harvey, while a wonderful person, great story teller, and an American treasure..., he was not the most politically conservative. He bought in to the global warming fraud, and I even wrote him a letter once over his rather leftist statements on one broadcast just over a year ago (But I can’t recall at this time what it was).

Huckabee will only be doing 5 mins instead of Harvey’s usual 15.

For anyone who noticed my posts back during the primaries - I am not a Huckabee fan (at least politically). But I just don't see how you can blame him for Obama being the president. Voters (primarily Republican voters) voted for McLame.

And for that matter, I am still not convinced that Mitt "Socialized Medicine among other lefty positions as Governor" Romney would have been any better than Huckabee, or that he would have won against Obama. I know that a LOT of Christian Conservatives were very much against Romney, but at least a chunk voted for McCain in the General Election.

Presumptions with zero avenues to prove them are kind of pointless.
