Missouri police given chilling instructions (just mentioned by Rush)
American Thinker ^ | March 18, 2009 | Timothy Birdnow

Police in Missouri apparently are being instructed to keep on eye on conservatives.

According to this AP article the government of the state of Missouri has issued a report "informing" state police that people with third party bumper stickers on their cars or who believe the NAFTA superhighway is an attempt create a North American Union are subversive members of paramilitary militias and potential terrorists.

"I have been seeing it all over the internet for over a week. How can we verify?"

Websearch the acronym and associated words--go at least tens of pages deep. Look for the bricks and mortar newspapers and radio/TV station pages/stories and credible blogs. Then triple-check the source's sources. There is a lot of circular resourcing going on with this story, which only leads you back to the original questionable/dubious source.

Above all, take the time to wade through the hysterics and make a concerted effort to avoid the conspiracy theorists’ fringe sites. A lot of snake oil salesmen and P.T. Barnum wannabees make names for themselves and fortunes off the predictable reaction a story like this generates. Remain skeptical, especially once you begin to think you are convinced.

I think I need independent verification of this before I take it seriously.

Where have you been the last few days? This stuff has been all over the news and about 10 articles posted on FR. It has been verified. Belong to libertarian party? You are a suspected terrorist and need to be investigated(in MO). Likewise if you believe in the North American Union. About 10 criteria, all of them conservative, are listed in other articles. Believe it.

BTW, burying our heads in the sand is what got us to this point, with a communist in the WH and empowering other commies to come out of the woodwork. Refusing to believe the worst is the way to let it creep right up and take you. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't after you.

Yep, I can’t imagine policemen in certain areas of the state taking this seriously at all. Parts of Missouri are very conservative.

I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in another country. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer. Later in life, questions arose over my real name. My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but I practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny. I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career. I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child. I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40s. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. This bolstered my ego. At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash my country. But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight. I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people. I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope' , together we could change our country and the world. So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews. My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader. I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with.

I'm glad they didn't. Then I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth.

Who am I?

ADOLF HITLER.

WHO WERE YOU THINKING OF?

BS.

I posted this in detail over a week ago including the prints.

It was pulled by FR. Because in mention Ron Paul and others.

So don't go imply that Obama is the only one doing censorship.

"Not surprising, from the state that also had the so-called “truth squads” who pursued those who DARED to question The One during the campaign."

Here's video on it. I couldn't believe my eyes & ears when I saw & heard that! And only for Obama, not any of the other candidates.

"Oh come on, the police I know are more right wing than I am (and that ain’t easy to achieve). Course I only know police in SW Missouri, could be different in St Louis or KC."

You people are deluding yourselves. These same conservative cops that you know are more than happy to trample on your Constitutional rights at any time, see below. They'll all fall into line because priority #1 is keeping their jobs.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Missouri police departments commonly employ sobriety checkpoints at set locations, where all drivers passing through are stopped and questioned regarding their alleged intoxication, without any observed traffic violations being committed, or prior probable cause to arrest for DUI / DWI.

You won’t believe this. This morning I saw a foreign car driven by an elderly white male that said: Obama Socialist
If I was driving, I would have rammed him in the rear!

No drug-dealing illegal immigrants on that list, I see.

I guess that’s not the kind of danger to America they’re interested in.
