Given that the Supreme Court explicitly affirmed that people have a right to own guns for self-defense and not just for hunting, would this be an argument for getting this declared unconstitutional? At least by the present court?

There’s a line in the sand, and the hardware and ammo are piling up on the liberty side of that line. They see it.

And, like you say, they are seeing what they can get away with before the appearance of something that is currently lacking on the liberty side - WILL.

The tea party people, the gun people, the pro life people, the immigration people all need to work together on each issue to make our voices heard. We need to have leaders of each group organize massive demonstrations urging each group leader to have their members attend one of each event and get literally millions at a gun rally, an anti abortion rally etc. We need to stand for ALL or we will have NONE!

We used to have such an organization. It was called "The Republican Party". I wonder what ever happened to it?
