And, like you say, they are seeing what they can get away with before the appearance of something that is currently lacking on the liberty side - WILL.

I wonder what the civil servants who will be tasked with having to confiscate the guns have to say about all this. They are the folks who will be thrown into the breech by the lib politicians who think they (the civil servants) are expendable. Certainly the thought would cross their minds that there was a chance they’d not be going home to their families again, because there are American citizens who are not going to give up their guns or any of their other cherished rights without a fight.
These stupid ass politicians are setting the stage for some very bad shit.
