Obama Requires YOU to SERVE, H.R.1388, "The Give Act" to reform the National Service Laws

HR 1388, will hit the House floor on Tuesday.It is called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (The Give Act.) The House is scheduled to Rule this week. Sponsored by Democrat Representative Carolyn McCarthy (NY), Education and Labor Committee. The objective is to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.

Democrat Rep. McCarthy is sponsoring the bill with 25 co-sponsors, ALL Democrats, including Charlie Rangel. Need I say more.

Our only "hope for change" is that ozeros numbers will eventually drop and his popularity ,which drives all this crazy legislation ramp up of such BS bills,will tank.

As soon as Joe 6 pack figures out that every speech Ozero has ever given was all designed to pump up his numbers by saying stuff that his pollsters told him would prop up his numbers(one more time) his little reign will be over and done.

Until then it will be fast and furious in congress with el commandant trying to pass every socialist piece of Shite legislation he possibly can be fore the bulk of the population is on to him.

I guess that means these "volunteers", probably the laid off seniors whose retirement funds are in the crapper and swirling around the bowl, get to clean up the crap from the tracks when the use of trains, which will be modified to burn vegetable oil, is greatly expanded, when planes are restricted to people doing "important government work", like Stretch Pelosi and The Messiah.

It should never be done, PERIOD. There is no such think as "if it is handled right" because sooner or later it will fall into the hands of someone like Bozo.

Israels mandatory service is for the military and very similar to out old draft. If the draft were reinstated I would not be too unhappy, but to say people should go into "camps" can never be handled correctly.

BTW, we are not Israel or any other country and it doesn't matter what other countries do. We don't require, or allow, involuntary servitude.

I will never go to a camp, if the bill is really written that way, and I would encourage every young person I know or come across to resist such tyrannical BS.

However, not having read the bill I really don't know what is in it yet. I would suspect the left will soft peddle this at first in an effort to pass it. Later will come amendments or rules that allow the bureau that runs it to add whatever provisions they want, regardless of the will of the people.

I don’t have an issue with this if it makes people who get free money for college, welfare payments, EIC bennies, WIC payments, unemployment, and anything possible penny from the government. You need to pay for it through volunteering, forced volunteering or otherwise. Otherwise I don’t support this at all.
