Come to think of it, countries like China and Cuba utilize the Christian calendar too, just as countries utilize English when conversing internationally, air traffic control, etc.
All kinds of excuses can be made, convenience, or to avoid confusion, or whatever.
I know a Vietnamese family, they celebrate Tet, and in thier kitchen hangs a calendar much like the one that hangs in our kitchen: today being March 12, 2009 AD.

Because humans are not isolated from each other to the degree that differential speciation can occur. Genetic drift however, continues.
What exactly would this “degree of isolation” need to be in order for this “differential speciation” to occur and what does genetic drift have to do with not recognizing human evolution occuring in the past several centuries or more?
Let’s all just be grateful that the Bible has little to say about arithmetic, otherwise the sky-pilots would be denouncing The Devil’s calculus and the perfectly sulphurous realm of probably communistic Imaginary Numbers!
