No more love for Lucy? (33 years of evolutionary propoganda up in smoke)

No more love for Lucy?

Ryan Jaroncyk

For over the last 30 years, the supposedly 3 . 2 Ma old Australopithecus afarensis specimen known as ‘Lucy’ has been boldly proclaimed as the ancestor of all humanity in magazines, television shows, books, newspapers and museums. However, Tel Aviv University anthropologists have published a study casting serious doubt on Lucy’s role as mankind’s ape ancestor.1 Based on a comparative analysis of jaw bones in living and extinct primates, researchers concluded that Lucy and members of her kind should be ‘placed as the beginning of the branch that evolved in parallel to ours.’ In other words, Lucy should no longer be considered to be our direct ancestor. Lucy’s demise falsifies 33 years of evolutionary hyperbole and propaganda...

Okay, go to Vegas, take $100, sit down at a roulette wheel where they promise to take all your money 999 out of every 1,000 spins and have fun trying to “evolve” your $100 ito $1,000,000,000!

Have someone read the antecedent comments to you, very slowly.

And please quit capitalizing so much: You're breaking down my resistance to your wiles!

Still curious. Do you agree with Lamarckian evolution?

You’re right. The Evos are only admitting that they have been wrong about Lucy being our so-called direct ancestor for the last 30 years. However, the Evos jumped on the next best thing, making her our indirect ancestor. What do you suppose they base this on???

There are light skinned blacks and dark skinned whites. However black or white they are the same species.

What mutations allowed reptiles to grow feathers and form bird lungs?

And you didn't even read my post, did you, Cedric? In your heart of hearts? Truth if only to your own conscience?

I'll bet that at most, you lightly skimmed it. Only you know whether I'm correct or not; do you have the honesty to face it in yourself? Did you actually READ what I said? Either you did and your response is weakly defensive because you know I nailed you with a probable truth you can't allow yourself to accept, OR you didn't read what I said because you're afraid to.

I hope you go back and read it and give it serious contemplation, as it was not a knee-jerk response on my part, but the cumulative product of more than 20 years contemplating the full wonder of God and His miracles as relating to a stint of reading I did years ago on the fascinating science of paleontology. It is why you very stupid anti-"evo" people disgust me so much -- you do zero contemplation, and 100 percent self-righteous emoting and leaping without looking -- unwittingly in service of evil, I believe. There's nothing "evil" about evolutionary theory. There is MUCH evil in a group of people bent on vengeance in God's name, a God who makes it very clear that vengeance is His, not ours.

Cite one example of new genetic information added through positive mutation.

Discussing the topic with poor ol’ clueless Norman is like discussing seamanship with a person who’s never seen the ocean nor read a book about sailing.

The scientific community calls that an ad hominem logical fallacy.

I must ask for evidence. Please cite one example of new genetic information added through mutation. Give me evidence.

Huh? You said -- "Somebody who discredits Lamarck is a discredit to discrediting."

In turn, I asked a simple question -- Do you agree with Lamarckian evolution?

Not much sneakiness there. You either do or you don't. So, do you agree with Lamarckian evolution?

Its a bad analogy. Its like suggesting that if we bring some african chimps to an American zoo, then we shouldnt find chimps in Africa anymore. Silly analogy.

The silly is on the other side. As I said, there is no requirement that all Europeans die off just because Americans descended from them and changed in culture and language.

The idiotic point behind this frequent creationist maxim is the assumption that because humans are proposed to have come from non human primates; that all other non human primates must, as a necessity, also be becoming ‘more human’ as time goes on. This is as stupid as saying that because the Earth formed out of a dust cloud in space that all dust clouds in space are becoming like the Earth.

Doe it matter? Your very own creationists are citing it, and that looks like capitulation to me.

BTW, going from a direct ancestor to the start of a parallel branch is a very small change. And if these evolutionists were part of a conspiracy, do you think they would even bother?

There's nothing "evil" about evolutionary theory.

Except for the slight problem that it contradicts the word of God. Thus, to the extent evo theory undermines God's word it is a means, whereby, Satan has led multitudes to eternal damnation.

Other than that it's a perfectly swell teaching.

Agreed, i once heard the same thing on a tour at Mesa Verde indian ruins. When they can’t say exactly when or why a ruin was abandoned, the hippy park guides always say they probably had a “war” with their neighbors.

Ink blot test, exactly sir!
