Video: Planned Parenthood Allows Infanticide After Failed Abortions

Washington, DC -- A national pro-life group for college students has released footage of an undercover video taken last year showing a Planned Parenthood staff member telling a pregnant woman than babies are left to die after induced labor abortions where the baby survives the abortion procedure.

Students for Life of America told LifeNews.com on Tuesday that it has released the footage of a member posting as a pregnant woman.

The video shows the student going to a Title X, federally funded Planned Parenthood facility located in Freehold, New Jersey. A Planned Parenthood staffer describes how an abortion would be performed on a 22 week unborn child.

In the footage, the Planned Parenthood nurse describes to the pregnant woman that the abortion would entail delivering her son alive. After the woman asks if the baby can be born alive, the nurse admits that "it does happen...but it wouldn't be able to survive on its own, so eventually the baby does die."

Don't ever fall for the argument that abortion is about ending a pregnancy and the woman's body. It's almost always about killing the baby. Want proof? Simply think about how the women seeking most abortions would feel if they were handed a baby on their way out the door and if abortions would be so popular if that was the normal outcome. The reasons most women seek abortions (everything from not ready to be a mother or already having too many children to hard cases like fetal abnormalities or incest) require the baby to die for the abortion to achieve the desired result.

From this, we can reasonably conclude that the ostensible reasons for abortion are generally not the real reasons, because the ostensible reasons would be resolved by adoption. The need to kill the baby is coming from some other source.

At 22 weeks, the baby does die, whether you care for it or not. Only one well-documented 22 weeker is known to have survived.

The nurse uses words like baby, labor, delivery, alive, die. She mentions adoption. I don’t she likes late abortions, or is encouraging this one.

Will you pray for this nurse, that the Lord may enlarge her compassion for the babies, that her eyes be opened to the injury abortion does women, and that she turn away from death?
