WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama signed an executive order Monday repealing a Bush-era policy that limited federal tax dollars for embryonic stem cell research.

Obama's move overturns an order signed by President Bush in 2001 that barred the National Institutes of Health from funding research on embryonic stem cells beyond using 60 cell lines that existed at that time.

Obama also signed a presidential memorandum establishing greater independence for federal science policies and programs.

this is evil speech, to marginalize people who hold life sacred as “anti science” and to lie about the conscience and efforts at balance by our former PRESIDENT

doublethink is so very dangerous to us all

Please people open your eyes

Yes, and the looks on their faces are chilling considering what they are cheering.

Joe O’Biden skipped the photo op?

Maybe he wants to avoid excommunication

Look at Pelosi gloating. Why does the Church turn its face from her.

Yep. These families have been sold a bill of goods by a bunch of professional researchers who want more federal grant money thrown their way. It was never about “science,” it was about the money.

Just what we need, federal money to research a new cause of cancer.

May God have mercy on us.

Thank you for the link to a great article.
[excerpt]
“President Obama has decided to direct taxpayer money on experimentation that has proven to be a failure. The President seems to hope that simply throwing money at the problem will fix it. In the meantime, every failed experiment will cost more human lives.” Ms. Atteberry continued, “All citizens should demand their tax dollars be directed instead to research that continues to unlock cures to many of our most dreaded diseases.”

This paragraph sums up the issue quite nicely...
although, why should taxpayer money EVER be used for research? The country is bankrupt, yet he promises to throw more money at failed research. If the research was showing good promise many would be throwing money their way. I'm sure Nancy Reagan has a couple million she could spare.
