Obama has been the beneficiary of a carefully engineered financial crisis. OK, maybe you aren't ready to believe that... so check out this video of newly released footage from Fannie Mae CEO Daniel Mudd explaining how the Congressional Black Caucus, Obama, and the Democrat party were like "family" to Fannie Mae and the crooked execs running it.

It's real simple. Either Obama and his buddies put race ahead of our nation and gave cover to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and their criminal execs inadvertently, in order to further their racial and socialist agendas, or they were in on it all along. Malfeasance or incompetence. Take your pick.

One should also review the relationship between the Democrat Lawyers in Mississippi (Michael Moore) and the Tobacco Settlement and the Millions of dollars diverted to the Black Caucus from that settlement. The settlement monies was supposed to all go to medical payments and tobacco education, yet millions goes to the Black Caucus.

Add to the black caucus issues, Goldman told Bernanke/Paulson/Geither that they would lose money if AIG folds. So, we give TARP funds to Goldman AND guarantee their credit default swaps, all at the taxpayers expense.

As more than a million US homeowners face devastating mortgage foreclosures, ousted Fannie Mae CEO Daniel Mudd continues to live in an opulent Washington, DC, mansion replete with expansive gardens, servants’ quarters and a home theater.

Mudd, whose former company is being bailed out by billions in taxpayer dollars, calls home a 22-room Colonial mansion on Newark Street in tony Cleveland Park, built on the former property of President Grover Cleveland.

The eight-bedroom, eight-bath pad includes large public rooms with fireplaces, a home theater, a gym, a wine cellar, a solarium, servants’ quarters, a terrace off the master-bedroom suite, and a gourmet kitchen.

The gated, landscaped property also features a pool, fountains, gardens and a guesthouse.

The property is so lavish that some company employees dubbed it “Mudd Manor.”

I believe that nothing would make Barney Frank, Janet Reno, Harry Ried, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama happier than the citizens of the United States teeing off on guys like Mudd.

As long as we focus on Mudd, and not the people who designed, implemented, and forced lending institutions to adopt poor lending practices, the more safe the actual culprits will be.

If Fanny Mae hadn’t gone south last year, would we be discussing Mudd? Was it Mudd’s decisions that drove Fannie Mae over the edge, or was it the policies shoved down lending institutions throats by Congress that caused everyone headaches?

I’m not convinced people in the lending industry didn’t cause some problems, but it really drives me crazy to see them demagogued and the criminals in Congress go scott free.

Could anyone have kept Fannie Mae solvent under the conditions Congress set up on purpose? Isn’t that the real question here? If not, Mudd is not the culprit some of us would have folks believe he is.

Once again, we are asked to look at someone’s salary, their livng standard, the use of corporate jets, their bonus system, and ignore those things as they apply to our federal leaders.

We are seeing class warfare leveled on the private sector, while the untouchables at the highest levels of our government, amass fortunes of their own on our dime.

Agree completely, with the addition of two names that escape without a scratch time after time.Chris Dodd, who is on at least his fourth corruption investigation with the nationwide home loan sweetheart deal.and Jaimie Garilick, number two at the Clinton justice dept. under Janet Reno, responsible for building the wall that prevented intelligence agencies from sharing investigative work. How stupid is that,on a common sense scale? And now Obama has her in his inner circle of security advisors. She also is waist deep in the Fannie and Freddie fiasco.
