Dems Doubling Down On Rush Push
Redstate.com ^ | 03/08/09 | Caleb Howe

It of course goes without saying that the war on Rush Limbaugh is continuing apace. Democrats are nothing if not committed to untenable positions. The more untenable the better, in fact. As we’ve endeavored to point out here at Redstate, this is all a White House distraction tactic, and it’s being executed by friendly media taking directions. The left online, naturally, jumped on board faster than a Democrat on a filmmaker. It’s simple to understand, really. They don’t want you to think about Obama’s broken campaign promises and inept first month. So they need a distraction. They have replaced the B with an R in their favorite distraction action: hobgoblinery. (Well it sounds like a real word!)

Rush certainly prospered in the Clinton years.
Unfortunately now the stakes are much higher.

We’re not fighting over a bj in the oral office, this is a grave threat to our personal liberty as Americans.

I just hope that there will be another state beside Alaska that secedes and has a warmer climate.

Smartest people in America running that administration.

Whoever said that doesn't have a very high opinion of America. The brightest minds in the best business schools in the land invented the toxic crap that has destroyed global banking. Either they are evil geniuses who set out to do just that, or, they are really stupid. Maybe the kids who score super high on the ACT/SAT are ABNORMAL and are not smart at all. Maybe they are so detached from reality that they can't function within societal norms. We elevate them when we should be offering them special government programs to make them more "normal." Idiot savant, my ....

"Wow the WaPost claims Limbaugh's numbers are now at 25 million up from 14 million. If you add in listeners in cars who knows what the real number is. Possibly 1 in ten of the entire population(legal) of the country. Simply huge!"

And, don't leave out the farmers, construction workers, route drivers, etc. who listen on small portable radios with earbuds, like the late, talented, and extremely handsome Mr. Redhead and our son, who has taken up the baton (little radio) for his fallen sire.

Rush is right again. Ignorance is truly our most expensive commodity.

"I'm voting Democrat."

The most expensive words after: "With this ring, I thee wed."

Only kidding!

"The left has at its disposal the power of the media, academia and government."

True, but even combined, they can't match the half of Limbaugh's brain that he keeps tied behind his back. He had 20million listeners fifteen years ago. I suspect he's got half again that many now, which is bad, bad news for the Ovoters/sycophants/drive-bys.

You’re right and believe me I know it!

You should read some of the “conversations” (online) between me and my few conservative friends.

There are a lot of PO’d people in this country now.

The “liberals” and Dims just don’t get it.

Obambi is going to be worse than Carter if that’s possible.

I would love to see reporters start to do stories about how Obama is personally attack private citizens because they speak out against him.

Remember, when Bush was president “Dissent is patriotism.” Odd how that doesn’t seem to apply now.

It should become a talking point at every opportunity.

When conversing with libs, I never miss an opportunity to use their own words against them.

I also come armed with YouTube clips converted to mpgs of his finer moments like the 57 states, seeing dead people and the rambling gibberish when his teleprompter failed.

Not only do Obots hypocritcally forget about "Dissent is Patriotism" now that Zero has the WH, they've simultaneously given the heave-ho to the baby's bathwater, with the baby still in it.

Article I, Section 9, paragraph 3 of the US Constitution forbids bills of attainder (laws aimed at an individual), but 0's minions blithely find 0bambi clean and fresh smelling when he uses the Executive Branch to excite the fifth column and their thralls toward doing what is effectively the same activity.

There can be no doubt these sychophants and their messiah have no regard for constitutional principals, and are happy to trash almost everything it has ever positively meant to be an American.

Who among us thinks that since 0bambi is pleased do thusly to one of the greater among us, that he would hesistate for a moment similarly to destroy personally any lesser among us, perhaps by the millions? (Certainly targeting the rich for confiscatory tax burdens is but one initial such foray, palatable to the huge preponderance of those who were counted as voting for 0.)

As successful resistance arises to the magic negro's plans (e.g., to a similar effect as Rush), the organic extension of what the messiah has already shown and told us will be further personally destructive behaviors, not excluding the most debilitating against individuals. (Think Pol Pot, with Conservatives playing the part of those "in need of re-education".)

Kinda puts a crimp in bringing back the fairness doctrine. If they need Rush to be the rights boogeyman, they can’t drive him and the others off the air.

I think what will put the kibosh on bringing back the fairness doctrine, under any rubric, is the very fact that the Democrats have raised Rush's profile with their attacks. Any action now which has the effect of "hushing Rush" should fail miserably in court because it could never be proven that it was not intended to have that effect on the administration's biggest critic. I think they have bought themselves the burden of proof in such case.
