It of course goes without saying that the war on Rush Limbaugh is continuing apace. Democrats are nothing if not committed to untenable positions. The more untenable the better, in fact. As weve endeavored to point out here at Redstate, this is all a White House distraction tactic, and its being executed by friendly media taking directions. The left online, naturally, jumped on board faster than a Democrat on a filmmaker. Its simple to understand, really. They dont want you to think about Obamas broken campaign promises and inept first month. So they need a distraction. They have replaced the B with an R in their favorite distraction action: hobgoblinery. (Well it sounds like a real word!)

Kos kidz are still banging the daily dose article as correct, raw story also. The debate point is whether Limbaugh "nearly doubled" his audience or not.

Distraction tactic. Great idea. Drive people to listen to Rush who is doing nothing but talking about what they want to distract us from. Smartest people in America running that administration.

I think you’ve nailed it.
It’s like distracting the quarterback who’s planning to kick your butt by introducing him to your very pretty girlfriend ;-)

Wow the WaPost claims Limbaugh's numbers are now at 25 million up from 14 million. If you add in listeners in cars who knows what the real number is. Possibly 1 in ten of the entire population(legal) of the country. Simply huge!

The debate point is whether Limbaugh "nearly doubled" his audience or not. That's their issue, not America's. The fact that his audience has grown by leaps and bounds appears inarguable, and that means many more people are in fact hearing about just what this regime has up its sleeve.
I believe many who are not especially active politically were vaguely uneasy about Obama but went along with the media schtick about "first black etc." Now they are getting answers that explain just why they should have been uneasy all along. The 'rats strategy has blown up in their faces, and they seem intent on pouring fuel to the fire.
Good for America. Really bad for them.

O’blither has shown his Achilles heel. He is not capable of weathering criticism. Time to show our ‘Patriotism’ as defined by SOS Clinton. I’ll start: 0bama is an insufferable bore.

"Kos kidz are still banging the daily dose article as correct, raw story also. The debate point is whether Limbaugh "nearly doubled" his audience or not. " Did I miss something in the Daily Does article. It says that Rush's ratings went from 14 million to 25 million?

The media and the DNC (repetitive I know) have used Rush to distract the countries attention.
Capital markets are collapsing - Bash Rush, bash Republicans for not bashing Rush.
Tax-Cheat Geithner AWOL - Bash Rush, bash Republicans for not bashing Rush.
Humongous increase in the deficit and scope/size of Federal government - Bash Rush, bash Republicans for not bashing Rush.
Repeat as needed.
