My translation:
The owners of Charmex a maquiladora in Mexicali Baja California was caught by its employees moving it machine back to the US in the middle of the night.
The company had been in Mexical for 17 years and had been losing money and planned to re-open in the US.
The article uses the verb fuga which means escape or getaway, and not in a nice way.
When a compnay closes in Mexico the are reqiured by law to pay a severance and this is what Charmex is trying to avoid.

Jerks. I hope no US worker takes a job with these chumps.
So what’s a maquiladora?
Clicked on the link and it was in Spanish. Charmex? What do they make? Mexican toilet paper?
Better get the whole story before rushing to judgment.
Is the Mexican press more reliable than our own?
;)
There may be a lot of companies doing the same with the collapse of Mexico and them finding it may be a bit safer to be in the US.
assembling machine
maquiladora?
Means “little sister”, its an assembly factory set up just over the border where usually US parts shippied in and finished product shipped out.
Can we really blame them? Every single day we are pointing out how businesses are taxed or regulated out of existence by Big Brother.
oops I meant a assembling shop, or factory in this case. I am still getting coffee-fied this morning.
Thanks. Adding that to my list of new words learned in case we’re all speaking spanish one day soon.
Yeah thats it, gave the correct translation before I could correct my answer.
They agreed to it, send the management down to spend some time in a Mexican jail.
Based solely on the fact that our own press is a total joke, I would have to say yes.
Good, get the heck out of that failed country while you can. IMO just leave the machines and burn the damn factory, I see no reason to honor any contracts with the corrupt Mexicans, they don’t honor ours for extradiction nor our borders.
You are to funny.
More proof the Bolshecrats have third worldized the U.S.
Cereal. It's magically delicious.

These companies moved to Mexico with the promise of being the reason illegal immigration would stop and to ‘help’ the Mexican people. None of them give one whit about the Mexican people, or us, for that matter.
I do imagine they are concerned for their own safety, which they should be.
Border violence leads to armor-plated vehicles
