Procedural gobbledygook that proves GOP hacks knew a tax hike extension was coming!
Yo!
Thanks. :)
Ahnuld, has turned into one more accommodating/flip-flopping politician who told us he wouldn't allow taxes to be raised. We re-called Governor Davis, on Anhuld's promise not to raise taxes.
He caved and signed a new state bill that includes multiple tax increases (some are called fees - right). Apparently he has lost his veto pen. Screw the Taxamator.
Cali is lost. Still, I applaud those in Fullerton, and I love their motto, "Heads on a Stick" to expose duplicitous/lying politicians. However, it will be for naught. I voted for McClintock knowing this would occur.
Our State of California and the Nation in general is LONG past demonstrations and protests. Little "Tea Partys" are a waste of time. They will make NO difference to the socialist/Marxists.
So where to go from here? I got ideas, but no one ever discusses them with me. Most are still wrapped up in their political party affiliations and thinking they will persevere in 2010.
Got any idea how much damage will be done by then? The ballot box is now worthless. Wake up. Think outside that particular box.
Both excellent letters, LOL’ers fer sure!
The politicians in this country are about to have a real bad day.
That’s awesome. Hehe, “Don’t Tax Me Bro!”
Great post. Thank you. I’m stealing the content...:)
So what you're saying is that we're doing exactly as Obama is doing....bringing down the world economy. How the hekk did we get on the same side! Putin has to be laughing all the way to the World Bank...and Congress has yet to pass ANY bill that someone has actually READ! gotta sleep on this'n.
Best Sign (ok, I mean easiest to make)

We call this the Vietnam Syndrome....We stopped 'giving' to South Vietnam, Russia (and China) kept right on giving to North Vietnam...Victory for Communism. While I don't disagree with the intentions, all good, just seems we're playing right into our friends, the anarchists, hands. Clearly a new 'playbook' is needed to avoid seeing a Dem Gov do even 'better' than Ahhhnold. As goes Calif...so goes the country.
“So what you’re saying is that we’re doing exactly as Obama is doing.”
All I did was answer the person’s question about “going Galt”. That was just one of many synposes about the book (Atlas Shrugged) that you can find on the net. I take “going Galt” to mean that people are trying to find ways to make under the Obama definition of rich in order to not have their wealth distributed.
I’m inclined to do the same as you’ve suggested! I don’t think they’ll be cutting checks. :-)

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and only one parent had to work to support the family. |
Ping to the post linked to this one.
One more fact to add: schools were mostly one-room buildings with teachers who were trained at an eighth grade level. Their salaries were paid with voluntary fees. Literacy was estimated at 98%.
In California and other states, aluminum cans, plastic water bottles and glass bottles for beer, pop, etc. are assessed a “California Redemption Value.”
You can recycle the containers but you never get what you paid, especially with the plastic containers. The redemption centers pay by the pound and the plastic is nearly worthless. Gallon water bottles are 10 cents each but the exact same container for milk has no fee. People go through trash on pickup days to scavenge for them.
I always called it the “Bum Tax.”
There’s a lot of state sovereignty stuff posted here:
