Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., has referred constituents raising concerns over President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office to an online "fact" organization that relies for its answer partly on information from the Obama campaign.
"Thank you for your recent e-mail. Senator Obama meets the constitutional requirements for presidential office. Rumors pertaining to his citizenship status have been circulating on the Internet, and this information has been debunked by Snopes.com, which investigates the truth behind Internet rumors."

Yup, just like the floodgates will open when Berg gets SCOTUS to hear his case alleging 9-11 was an inside job. How's that one working out?
However, if there wasn't a ban, he likely traveled on a US passport and then this point shouldn't be included in arguments about nationality and citizenship. I got burned on this one because I couldn't back it up. If it's true, we should all know a source to cite. If it's not true, we're giving others a wedge to paint us as wrong.
I didn't know that!
This one was very obvious, though.
He/she would have to be for me to notice! ;o)
“Loved the first thing on your Profile.”
Thank you!
I love Monty Python, and not the DCs.
That graphic perfectly expresses my feelings for both. ;o)
You are a bold person to do what you did on Snopes!
And, to tick them off enough to ban you is a hoot and a half!
Hat tip to you, sir! ;o)
I read your homepage, and you are an excellent poet.
I love the poem about Viet Nam.
Thank you for writing it, and thank you for your service.
I apologize.
I see the problem.
I wrote “How did Obama travel to Pakistan on a USA passport?”
Bad error.
US citizens could travel there in 1981.
I was actually trying to raise this issue:
Did Obama have a USA passport when he traveled in 1981?
I have read that legal requests have been made to confirm that Obama had a USA passport in 1981.
I have also read that Obama’s lawyers have blocked all those requests.
I've Googled all the best known lawsuits, but I can't find the link for this.
I'll get back to you when I dig it out.
Obviously, if Obama was traveling internationally in 1981 without a USA passport, that would raise some very interesting questions.
You are correct.
I completely bungled that question.

zeestephen, there are so many parts of this it’s hard to keep track. It would indeed raise interesting questions if there was another passport involved, although from reading these threads, I understand it’s not against US law. It would indicate dual Indonesian citizenship as an adult, though.
