Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., has referred constituents raising concerns over President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office to an online "fact" organization that relies for its answer partly on information from the Obama campaign.
"Thank you for your recent e-mail. Senator Obama meets the constitutional requirements for presidential office. Rumors pertaining to his citizenship status have been circulating on the Internet, and this information has been debunked by Snopes.com, which investigates the truth behind Internet rumors."

As I said...busy, busy new person.
Certainly knew his/her way around here.
Probably several libs using the same screen name/password.
They're out in force.
Looks remarkably like the same slop we get from our friendly Rino’s around here.

How many Billions of dollars do we spend on CIA, FBI, NSA and the such and this PUKE has the BAL** to tell us that the President of the United States was vetted by a fricking internet site!
What the Heck is going on in DC? LSD in the water supply?!
Loved the first thing on your Profile.
On 3 Feb 2005, Chloe (a snopes regular) posted a thread titled “Good Conservative Poetry?” in which she stated, “...I’ve been trying really hard to think of good conservative/rightwing/republican modern poetry ever since. To no avail. I don’t know if I can’t find it because it doesn’t exist..”
Was she surprised when a real “conservative/right wing/republican” poet replied to her post!
I said that I was the only living conservative poet and the snopes people had a long list of conservative poets. They were really liberal poets that had just written one conservative poem, so the list was easy to debunk.
This made them furious to be so humiliated and have their left wing bias exposed that I was banned from snopes.
Thomas Newton
Conservative poet
PS Now there is another also, Tom Zart, in addition to the original Dr. Elliot McGucken.
When Orly was in Nashville, she was upset because the Secret Service would not allow her to serve bo with subpoenas.
I tried to explain to her that, the rinos and the demo supporters of bo like al gore, don’t have Secret Service Protection.
Thus, it might be helpful to prepare lists of the home addresses of all the rinos and the demo supporters of bo like al gore so we may serve them with legal process.
Almost every birth certificate lawsuit has been dismissed for the same reason:
According to the judges, only Congress can decide if Obama is eligible.
According to the judges, individuals and organizations lack “standing” to sue.
Yet, Senator Martinez states that voters have “validated” Obama’s eligibility, not Congress.
Senator Kyl states that questions about Obama’s eligibility are just right wing “Internet rumors,” yet, Kyl admits he made his Congressional decision based only on information from one left wing website.
Well, if the issue on th einternet is debunked, then how about we all get a look at a “certified” document that proves it once and for all???
See, we still haven’t seen one to this day...There is a question about the validity of that document, nd copies seem to be flying around the place, but nothing seems to be certified...Much less an original...
Seems to me an easy fix, if it is credible and you are born here in the states, then I would think you’d want to clear that up, regardless of the insinuations from our side of the aisle...
But I have to deduce that there may be something not right with it...
Nobody seems to have the cajones to press them to clear it up...
When you write to your elected representatives, DO NOT MENTION the eligibility issue.
Instead, explicitly and only ask for:
(1) The name of the hospital Obama was born in.
(2) The name of the physician who signed Obama’s birth certificate.
(3) How Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981 with a USA Passport.
This would be funny were it not so pitiable. Everyone who has ever hit Snopes knows which way their political compass points not to mention that it is NOT Snopes responsibility to vet the potential POTUS. What next; Snopes will now be relied upon to investigate and judge treason and terrorists?
“Nobody seems to have the cajones to press them to clear it up...”
Phil Berg does. Once Phil gets a case before SCOTUS on the merits, then you will see the floodgates open.
Lawyers will be filing lawsuits all across the Country.
That was an excellent catch—looks like the mods caught it too eh? Sounds like more than one utilizing the same name...
Thank you for what might be the craziest ping of the week.
((Head spinning))
And just how in the hell does SNOPES investigate this when lawyers can not get a writ to see the true birth certificate???
The idiocy of these people amazes me. yet they are leading the country ...
But hopefully NOT FOR MUCH LONGER!
Replace the RINO’s with Real republicans.
(3) How Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981 with a USA Passport.
I keep seeing this one, and have been unable to track down a source showing there was a travel ban to Pakistan. I'd be glad to have it to refute someone - do you have a link to an official source or a citation?
The sources for the Pakistan trip were Obama plus the Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign.
HuffPo reported on Obama’s speech to a group of San Francisco fundraisers, where this first came to light.
Jake Tapper at ABC News confirmed the story with the Obama campaign and got additional details.
I don't know the HuffPo link.
The ABC link is: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/04/obamas-college.html
According to the Obama campaign, Obama was in Pakistan for three weeks in 1981 staying with a college friend.
What people are disputing is the notion that he could not have gone there on a US passport. By all accounts, there was nothing stopping a US citizen from going to Pakistan in 1981 on a US passport.
