WASHINGTON As he introduced his new choice for secretary of health and human services in the East Room this week, President Obama turned his head from right to left, but he was not looking at the audience. He was reading from two teleprompters strategically set up outside the tight television camera shot.
When he was done, the teleprompters quietly began retracting down to the floor. As she stepped forward to make her remarks, the nominee, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas, seemed momentarily surprised.

If the NY Times is trashing him, he must have really done something to tick off the press. Maybe even the most slavish liberal will feel sick with himself after bowing down to Lord Barrack for too long.

The teleprompter dependency is bad enough, but the “tennis match” swiveling of his head drives me friggin’ nuts. Look AT the camera once in a while!

NY Times stock down more than 7% today. 30%+ staff cuts on the horizon before May. You would think they would continue sucking up to their messiah in hopes of getting a bailout.

He is extremely scripted, Mr. Blakeman said, and he is cautious to the max and afraid of gaffes.
When answering questions without a script, Mr. Blakeman said, his speech is very halted and you can see him take a lot of time to think about what hes going to say.

I recall someone commenting about the "Not the State of the Union" address that he did a little drinking game wherein he drank every time The OneTM switched teleprompters instead of waiting for specific words. He said he was rip-roaring drunk four minutes into the speech.

The sleepy dust from the big hangover is finally falling out of some eyes.
Soon the media is going to realize they have to prop 0bama back up because they put him there. That is when the heavy drinking starts again.

Of course, they got in the obligatory dig at President Bush, who had to ad lib a line at the UN and screwed up. But no question they’re getting a bit upset.
For one thing, Obama has only had one press conference, and used a teleprompter there, too.
For another, he’s having all kinds of fancy parties and events at the White House, but evidently he’s not inviting the press. They were longing for the days of bill clinton, when the press got to stroll around the White House lawn sipping Chablis and munching ord’oeurvres with Hollywood starlets. But Obama ain’t inviting them to any of those.
Pretty good, except for that obligatory dig at Bush.
