I guess I shouldn't be amazed at the number of slacker ignoramuses who are up in arms about my frank review cutting down the absolute crap they worship a/k/a "The Watchmen", coming out in theaters late tonight. The e-mails they send me and the comments they make about how "deep," "edgy" and "profound" this vile piece of trash (which is none of these) reminds me of the blind statements of followers of Jim Jones. And we all know what happened after they drank he purple Kool-Aid. If only this movie could achieve that result, it would be the most fantastic exercise in natural selection ever conducted in America.

You don't realize you're still just as dumb, you're IQ just as low and probably lower. Deb, you might want to watch your spelling, grammar and punctuation when you're expounding on the low intelligence of others.

It’s really nice how she starts off with the insults to make sure we know she’s discarded logic. Saves us the trouble of having to read the rest.

A great film is a work of Art no different in how it should be considered than a great novel or play. I'm not defending this film per se because I haven't seen it. But neither have you. I have the graphic novel. Which was quite serious in intent and certainly not ‘titillating’

My husband is taking me to see it tomorrow. But I am really holding out for “Terminator Salvation”. I am not so interested in the Wolverine flick.

Oh, ruffled your feathers too? Just when do adults stop bragging on comics to the point of not taking legitimate criticism?

Nope. The Italians, Germans, and Russians have the same demographic problem — not enough babies. If it weren’t for illegals, it would be the same here in the USA.

So he’s a monarchist. Why did you bring that up in the first place? It’s just asinine.

Bull. A king is an ethnarch, sworn to defend his people and the unchanging Christian Faith. Obama is a demagogue, chosen by mob rule and sworn to defend a piece of paper that can be made to mean anything.

The Founders were far wiser about men. They knew that as Kings go, you get more bad ones than good. Your fantasies about Kings are just fantasies, they impact you and a few who you might reach by words. But a King’s fantasies are realities to all, and that can be, will be, quite difficult and dangerous to all.

Q: What do you call hair dye on a blonde?

Apparently, the scientists still haven't gotten all the bugs out of their AI development just yet....

I'm just your basic SCI FI fan and I watch all this stuff.
I chide my wife for her TV movies. I tell her she watches the "cheesy movie channel." Of course I see a lot of movies on the SCI FI channel that are equally cheesy. I am guilty of watching cheesy SCI FI movies.

Are you really asserting that Watchmen has any artistic or aesthetic merit? If you have to ask, they you are too uninformed for your opinions to be of any value.

Meh. That’s part of the natural rebalancing after technological and economic development reaches the point where people don’t need to have a eight or ten kids to insure that three or four of them make it to adulthood.
