PING!
Yeeach. More reason to not have TV.
Sieg Heil! /sarc. Sounds a lot like the Hitlerjugend in Nazi Germany—indoctrinate the young into the cult of the One.
GRRRRR.
That ticks me off. No more Nick Jr. in this house. And no, they did nothing like that for President Bush.
I banned Nick Jr years ago because of the commercial they ran about an upcoming show about ‘special families’ (two mommies, two daddies).
the results are scary
I just remember “That’s my Bush!” that among other atrocities suggested the Bush twins were having an incestuous relationship.
I’m not holding my breath for a similar show that pokes “harmless fun” at O-bama.
Getting rid of the satelite was a good thing. The children now watch Qubo.
OMG. Thats so funny. I just saw it!!!! Couldnt believe it. Turned it off and I guess that one more thing I have to say No to now.
I like the part about writing his own speeches.
Rosie o donuts works for nick.
linday leftie elerbie is the news propagandist for nick.
Typical white people must be banned at Nick Jr.
When I was a kid Nickelodeon actually was the safest place on the dial for wholesome, safe, and propaganda free programming for children.
I wouldn’t let my kids near this gutter network anymore.
When my girls see anything Obama, one pulls her lips down over her teeth and hunches over, the other makes big “ears” by cupping her hands behind her real ones. Both make monkey sounds.
But they’d rather watch X-Men on Disney XD anyway.
Nickelodeon is the only channel that my kids were allowed to watch. I started realizing a while ago that there were more and more shows that I would have to tell them they couldn’t watch. I can’t believe the shows that this “KIDS” channel has. Needless to say, my kids spend more time playing outside and doing there school work now.
This is no shock. My kids are almost grown, so I had not seen Saturday morning cartoons for years. While working out one Saturday about a month ago I skimmed through some of what passed for Saturday morning entertainment. It was all global warming, save the whales eco-nonsense.
My guess is that this brainwashing has been going on for years and its no surprise stupid American youth support the current socialist regime.
There was 100 times the intellectual value in Looney Tunes, the Jetsons, or the original Johnny Quest.
Nick has been salivating over Obama. I saw some of it (I have kids) and I could only think there was NO WAY they would be doing this if McCain had won.
NOTE: He watches ONLY when sitting in my lap, and ONLY shows with healthy cultural messages. While I have nothing against people based upon skin color alone, we carefully control the cultural influences to which we allow our child to be exposed ( basically European and Japanese only ). Multiculturalism is not a strength at Chez Chan: Lazy Town has two "black" puppets and one "Asian" puppet, but culturally they're all European, and all the human actors are white. Inai Inai Baa! has (of course) an all-Japanese cast and cultural context. Both shows are educational, have positive messages (basically "eat fruit, exercise, sing, dance, count, learn shapes, clean up your own messes") and are tons of fun to watch; my wife and I often catch ourselves singing the songs from the shows while driving, doing chores, etc.
