One of the brightest spots of CPAC 2009 was a brief statement by 14-year-old Jonathan Krohn about conservatism. The well dressed, articulate young man shared his views as set forth in his book: Define Conservatism. Yes, he was home schooled. The crowd was suitably impressed with this gifted young man.
I confess: even I didn’t see this one coming. It wasn’t long before the moonbats were comparing this bright, productive young person to Hitler’s Youth all over the blogosphere. Evidently, the teenagers in camo pants and black tee shirts marching and singing Obama songs were entirely normal but Jonathan is a Nazi. We need not be concerned about Kids for Obama. Or the little schoolchildren singing Obama’s song. These are all symbols of great patriotism, but Jonathan Krohn is the real threat to democracy.
As Ann Coulter has pointed out, liberals cannot learn from history. History begins anew each day for a liberal (more likely late afternoon). Which is why they cannot get it through their collective heads that Hitler was a lefty, not a right winger.....

One can't learn from history if he or she doesn't learn history to begin with. Many lefties would rather revise history to suit their own agenda than learn real history. Then again, the pulic education system is so bad these days that many wouldn't learn real history even assuming that they wanted to do so.
Wanting to know more about Jonathan after CPAC, I did a search and found myself on the Huffington Post. I was shocked at the hateful comments being made about the young man. I’m so sick of those evil ba$+^rds. They would have been more kind to a fourteen year old who’d impregnated half a dozen twelve year old girls. They are so low and slimy they can’t stand anyone who isn’t.

Remember their reaction to Piper when she gave Trig a spit-shine at the Republican National Convention! They called her “icky” and “unsanitary”, the K0mmie bastards!
All Liberals should be required to view the horrific truths on display in the Holocaust museum. The “never again” cry seems to be lost on American Liberal Jews and other Liberal morons who are doomed to relive history and take the rest of us with them. “There are none so blind as those who will not see” especially in the MSM who are useful idiots serving the enemies of America.

Thanks, good article. I wonder how the young man defines “conservatism.” The NC Forum tried for a couple of weeks to come up with a definition that included all of us, but we gave up. We couldn’t agree on a takeout dinner order, either.
Dr Sowell points out a quirk of the fascist ideology -
both the right and the left sees the other as fascist.
The right (rightly), points out the authoritarian, centralized collectivism of fascism as leftist.
The left, however, having disdain for country, culture and tradition, see the “nationalism” aspect of fascism/nazism as “conservative”.
Not surprising. We are the creative, freedom-loving people who are truly open to change and innovation and who believe everyone has a right to put forth valuable ideas and can earn merit. So it takes longer for a leader to come to the fore, because we are all leaders and only follow a truly dynamic leader with ideas.
The left are the ones who crave an establishment in which everyone is alike and falls in behind government-enforced entitlements. Just walk into any government office to be treated badly by people making $60K per year to shuffle papers and treat taxpayers like inconveniences to their day. They also tend not to worship the true God, so any secularist who promises redemption without any spiritual effort appeals to them; but not to us who have an inner relationship with the Holy Ghost.
You might enjoy the book Born Fighting: How the Scots-Irish Shaped America. Pardon me if I have recommended it before. It is written by a Democrat; but its historical sweep and analysis of the history of the Scots-Irish in this nation, and particularly the dynamics of the Civil War, are well worth the read. It describes the character of the traditional American very well, and how the ethos of the Scots-Irish has influenced the ethos of non-socialist Americans of every color.

Goldberg’s book scared me while we were waiting for the Obama Administration to begin. Now that the One has made blatantly obvious his real ideology I am seriously approaching despair. Our only hope is that his actions have been so dramatic that even the “mainstream” are recognizing what an extreme leftist he is, and plans to rule as an extreme leftist/socialist.
