Israel Seriously Considering Military Action Against Iran

WASHINGTON - Israel is seriously considering taking unilateral military action to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, according to a report by top US political figures and experts released Wednesday.

The report also says Israel's time frame for action is growing shorter, not only because of Iranian advances, but because Teheran might soon acquire upgraded air defenses and disperse its nuclear program to additional locations.

The report, "Preventing a Cascade of Instability," was put out by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP). It also argues that international sanctions against Iran need to be intensified urgently for the engagement the Obama administration is planning with Teheran to be effective.

I’ve got a good idea, why not barter away Israel’s security if Russia will intercede on it’s behalf with Iran?

Obama thinks that’s a stellar idea for us.

If that were true, we wouldn't hear about until after it started.

The Israelis might as well. Realistically, no one is going to prevent Israel from getting nuked.

Calm down Israel , it’s all going to be fine now that Obama is in charge of the world.

Obama is making friends with Iran and feeding the Hamas.

In no time at all, people from all over the world are going to be friends.

Exciting change, huh.

Israel is seriously considering taking unilateral military action to stop Iran...

Got a news flash for you. The more the talk, the less the action. Conversely, the less the talk, the more the action. Just the usual saber rattling. Probably a stalking horse headline to gage any prospective reaction from the Obama administration.

“No. No. No. I hate 0bama’s change! Look what he’s doing! This guy’s crazy! I better stop the Iranians from getting their hands on nukes! I’m already in danger!” Says Israel.

Make a phone call to the IAF general and tell him to prop up a strike force of Ra’ams and Sufas for a strike on a few nuclear facilities.

If I were POTUS, I would modify the Obey amendment to facilitate a crash creation of a couple of initial Israeli Raptor squadrons. Give them SDBs or let them use their indigenous BB bombs. Fly over a few Iranian nuclear facilities or even the Shahab ballistic missile factory and blow them to kingdom con.

Israel’s security is paramount.

For the sake of Middle East peace, I think it might be best if the U.S. actually did the dirty work. I am under no delusion that any of the Middle East nations actually want Iran to get the bomb.

If I thought Israel would be respected for doing the job, and the Middle East nations would thank it, I’d be all for it. Instead they’d trash Israel for doing them all a favor.

We live in one screwed up world.
