310 million Americans have allowed 546 political pigs in Washington DC to completely destroy the greatest nation ever known to mankind. The people didnt destroy the nation themselves, even though they will be the ones who will have to pick up the pieces and start all over, once it all comes unhinged But they have allowed it.
We have one president, one vice president, nine Supreme Court justices, 435 members of the peoples House and 100 US senators. Thats 546 people responsible for forcing 310 million Americans into the proverbial soup line, where 546 political pigs hope Americans will choose global secular socialism as a lesser evil to a complete socio-economic meltdown.
What are the People Thinking? What makes 310 million Americans feel like they are held hostage by 546 political thugs? Why are modern Americans afraid of self-governance? Why are freedom and liberty no longer worth fighting for in the land of the free and home of the brave? The Founders would be taking us all to the woodshed for what we have allowed to happen in this country

What are the People Thinking?
They are thinking they are screwed...

Dodd: "The bailout and AIG is making us the first trillionaires in history."
What are the People Thinking?
A rally on the mall in a couple of months will show them a thing or two...
They are thinking “We have to do SOMETHING!!!!” even though 85% are too stupid to realize that SOMETHING isn’t always the right thing.
It is sometimes called “dosomethingitis.” An often fatal disease.
If you recall, about 48% of us (maybe more, once you take out all the 2nd, 3rd, 4th votes of many ACORN activists) voted against The One, realizing the mess that was going to come. Unfortunatley, we either weren’t savvy enough to outpace the number of times ACORN voted over and again, or we are too honest to do what they do because most of us still have somewhat of a conscience left.
The president says he is gearing up for a fight on his budget. Good. Let’s give him one.
“A rally on the mall in a couple of months will show them a thing or two...”
And, will our military be there?
Yes, they did.
The kept reelecting crooks and trash to office. They kept looking to government for a hand-out. They kept punishing hard work and achievement by continually raising taxes on the hardest-working members of the society.
They allowed the destruction of public education to the point American history and Civics is no longer taught in the world's most expensive educational system.
They rejected God and sought to make up their own moral rules as they went along.
There are simply not enough good people left to outweigh the scum responsible for what is happening.
A majority of American voters elected an outright communist who openly called for the dismantling of their miraculously productive way of life. They embraced a son-of-a-bitch and they now have a son-of-a-bitch leading them.
The American people have EXACTLY the government they deserve and have justifiably earned the destruction of the bounty they took for granted.
“Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!” -Senator Goldwater
It’s too easy to blame the politicians.
The problem is us. As long as we expect our elected representatives to “bring home the bacon,” and give them credit and re-election when they get the pork, we will continue to deteriorate as a nation.
They’re trying to figure out how to make a difference without getting shot or going to prison.

Because it leads to discrimination, which they have been taught is the worst of all possible sins.
They're literally afraid of what they would do if they govern themselves.

Amen.
How difficult would it be to continue voicing our displeasure re congress as a whole so that in the PRIMARY in 2010, Dems and Republicans vote out all incumbants? It’s very difficult in the general election because conservatives don’t trust the libs and vice versa. However, if a national movement could be started, directed at the primaries, all of congress and 1/3 of the senate could be changed in a day.
The problem, as I see it, our elected officials have found these posts to be a place of profit and their number 1 job is not serving the people, it is their own re-election. They achieve this by voting our tax dollars.
Removing their pension, drastically cutting their pay (not to save money, but to eliminate the mischief) and reducing their terms to just a few so that they go to Washington to serve, not to pursue a career, would greatly reduce the power of the lobbyist.
This type of reform will never be enacted with the current crop we have in there. We need a complete change.
With the national opinion of congress so low, it may not be so impossible to get a national movement underway to remove them all.
In the last 100 years, we have let too many people into this country who come from cultures that are antithetical to the values of the Founding Fathers. Unfortunately, those people are now controlling the votes.
