The 5 richest states per capita (CT, NJ, MA, MD, NY) are bastions of liberalism and total Democrats, while the 6 lowest income states (MS, WV, AR, UT, KY, SC) are mostly conservative and Republican.
Conservatism is a grass roots, populist movement...unlike liberalism, which is the concoction of intellectuals, elitists, and control-crazy central planners.
Do you have a son or daughter, somebody that can tape it for you & drop it off tonight? :)

Isn't Obama just hideous the way he does that, like a bobblehead? When you see it, you have to realize how phony it is; the dual teleprompters are meant to allow the speaker to connect with both sides of an audience. But the correct way to do it is to glance at your speech and deliver it while looking PAST the prompter at all the people, not forgetting the camera in the middle, with most people watching from home. The prompter is actually not supposed to BE the focus. All Obama does is read, read, read the words.
Who will volunteer a safe passage out of the country for a teleprompter man whom we could dare to stick the following line into the middle of a Presidential Speech: "...and I have no idea what I am reading but doesn't it just sound magnificent..."
He won't run, but he might run interference - kind of play a John the Baptist role - for a for another true conservative with leadership skills, presuming she wants to run hard enough to win.
One of the too little discussed lessons of the last campaign is that no matter how good a conservative someone may be they don't make a good candidate unless they REALLY want to win and are willing to work for it. Fred, Rudy and Duncan's campaigns all failed for lacking such. Fred's campaign lite was a disaster in spite of his good ideas. Anyone trying the same again will just splinter the conservative vote and give us another RHINO; shoot them down. McCain and Mitt really wanted to win and kept working hard, which saved McCain's campaign back when we all thought he was dead. Huck really wanted to win, but knew he couldn't. He settled for working hard to prevent Mitt from winning, at which he succeeded.
At this time our focus needs to be on 2010. If we can somehow replace Spector and pick up a couple other Senate seats we'll be able to prevent some of the bleeding. If we can make some gains in the House Pelosi wouldn't be able to ignore us and we can set the stage for 2012. Our Presidential wannabees can be testing in part by how much help they provide in 2010.
My 10 year old son just said...Tell them I am going with you to start paying off my debt too! Ha! Ha! From the mouth of my babe....he’s wicked smart!
He gets it!
CNN carried the whole thing without commercial interruption as well, and then they had commentary on right afterwards. FNC missed the boat by not adding a segment or two on the content of the speech.
It is up on his website. I don’t know if it’s only on the paying part or if it’s open to all.
There are a LOT of people whom I wish to make watch this.
