The thought occurred to me also - but I think he senses that Conservatives now have a focus...or rather something to focus against, the Socialist Obama State. I think he intends to be active in helping strengthen that focus.
I seriously doubt he will run; but I wouldn't be suprised to see him more active on TV - or even reinstitute his TV program, but now with a distinctly more overtly political tone.

When I lived in the Chicago area, I worked for a kitchen remodeling outfit.
We were called to give an estimate on the Harvey house. I didn’t connect
the name at the time. When we got to the address we were waved in at the gate.
We went around the back of the house and lead into the kitchen by Mrs. Harvey’s
assistant.
After we were giving the plans, we met Angel and she offered us coffee and donuts.
She was very much a grandmother/aunt type of gal. She really spoke from the heart.
Great couple, I think of that time often. Gods people for sure.
Your comment presupposes that all the "have nots" are distinctly liberal. They are not, a point Rush has made many times. Most are hard working everyday folks that you do business with. They live their lives by conservative principles....they may not articulate it that way or identify with the conservative cause, but that's who they are.
Given a candidate that can articulate conservatism with a bit of eloquence and passion - America's conservative nature will triumph again. McCain was not that man!!

You see, we have such respect for the office and our country, we are careful with even those things we write...
That is how much it means to us!!!! When they play the song God Bless America...do you tear up? I always do...I love our Country and because of that I WILL DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION...AND ALWAYS DEFEND THE SOLDIER!!
Right now the best way to do this is to TAKE OUR SCHOOLS,CHURCHES AND CHILDREN BACK!
Write editorials, volunteer, SHOW UP AT THE AIRPORT WHEN THE SOLDIERS ARE COMING HOME AND TAKE YOUR KIDS!!!
Go to your kids games and teach them about Family First!!
Then buy them an ice cream cone and sit at the beach, a bench outside on the grass and tell them how wonderful America is!!! What a great Country they live in and How wonderful Freedom is! They will check your temperature...
But who cares...you will be known as DAD the guy who loved his Family, Country and his God!!!! Wow, not bad for a conservative fellow!
