The person I was talking to was attacking anyone who didn’t
support his guys, saying they were not a Conservative. Get you facts straight, it is you who is being a sloppy Nazi.

Rush supported Romney and Giuliani in the primaries. They were the two most liberal candidates on the Republican ticket. Rush lied about Romney’s record claiming that the only liberal position he ever held was being pro choice (but is now a true pro lifer). Rush lied to help a phony conservative get votes. That makes him a phony liar.
He is still entertaining though.
I listen to Rush everyday, and I never heard him endorse anyone, especially either of those guys. If he supported Romney and Giuliani, both of whom are RINOS, then why didn't he support McCain? So who did you vote for in the primaries?
When Rush lied to help Romney and Giuliani, I took that to mean he supported them.
I liked Thompson, Hunter and Huckabee. Oregon voted after it was all over though.

Actually Rush favored Thompson above all (only conservative on the platform at last nights debate comment), and I never heard him be enthusiastic about Rudy, that was Hannity who loved him. As far a Mitt Rush only spoke favorably about him after it was down to McCain and Mitt.
Rush favored Thompson just before the South Carolina primary to help knock out Huckabee and pave the way for a Romney McCain showdown for super tuesday. It didn’t work out that way though. Before that, Rush usually ignored Thompson and favored Romney.
Huckabee was a conservative Freeper until he ran against Romney...

I third that!!! We’ve had many discussions about it since the last primary, and have come to the conclusion it would be for the best. Had it been done this time, we likely would never have ended up with McCain.

Did you or did you not misspell a word in a post calling another person an idiot? Really, this is pretty simple stuff. I don’t care about your Jindal/Romney dispute. I have no dog in that fight. I’m merely pointing out the humor in someone who spouts off that others are idiots and can’t even put a simple sentence together in doing it.
This has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. It has a lot to do with simple decency, however.
Running around calling a regular poster on FreeRepublic a liberal is about as convincing as calling Romney a liberal. Really, it’s time to take a step back and lighten up.
