RomneyBOT broncobilly (deluded as ever): "Romney didn’t turn Mass. East into Mass. East.
It was that way before Romney came along.
He tried to make it better, but failed.
It is not a surprise that he has put his home in Mass. up for sale and is leaving.
I would leave too.
The state is a completly failed sucialistic (sic) state.
"

WRONG. Like for the Mass. Constitution, Romney had no respect for the GOP.
Romney cared only about himself.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”

- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
“Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,”
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."
- Boston Globe, 11/8/2006

20%. Wow, what a landslide ! 350 liberals, sycophants and/or just plain stupid people. Of course, that’d only run Slick Willard about $525 to buy all their votes.

I believe—am not 100%—that his parents were legal immigrants but not citizens at the time of his birth. In some eyes, that makes him an automatic US citizen. He was definitely born on US soil. I’ve got nothing against Jindal, but I’m not sure I want to see the anchor baby argument cemented by his election.

Romney said the dog liked being abused.

Romney said the Mauck's liked being murdered.

Romney said he marched with MLK.

All three are demonstrably false, with the middle one being downright malignant. Therefore I must call everything you said into question.

We actually need to decide who we want well before the primaries. We can not have a split vote again with each candidate giving ammunition to the dems. Whoever we pick, needs to be picked soon.

Thanks for pointing that out. It’s hard to proof-read your
own writing. At least now I know what he was talking about.

How dare you present facts in a Romney thread!

The misspelling didn’t change your post a single bit. What you meant was easy to infer.

3rd rate governor from a 3rd rate state

Please explain what is 3rd rate about either.

Oh, and what state are you from?

Not nearly as malignant as Slick Willard himself. Too bad his Ruth’s Chris lunch was more important to him than vetting a KNOWN liberal judicial applicant who had no hesistation to let animals out of jail to murder innocent people.

Amazing, Slick’s Democrat successor appoints TOUGHER judges...

I think after Obama, voters might want a president more experienced and seasoned than either Governor Jindal or Governor Palin.

Exactly. And his experience in the private sector is just what the country needs at this time.

Then it still won't be Mitt, by 2012, both Palin and Jindal will have either the same or more time on the job time as Government executives than Mitt has.

I agree to a degree. But why should it be just the south that determines the presidential candidate? Seems to me that the West has been more loyal to GOP conservatives than the south. With the south, you’re winding up with Huckabee over and over again...

I don’t know... I see North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia defect...

but I’m not sure I want to see the anchor baby argument cemented by his election.

Jindal was not an anchor baby. His parents were in the US legally.

“Thanks to the spelling and grammar Nazis for pointing these
things out. Sorry if I forgot some precious rules after being labeled not a Conservative.”

It’s not about being a Nazi at all. It’s about being sloppy. If you’re going to throw out names at others and attack Republicans who are attacking Obama, you’d best put on a good face. That didn’t qualify.

Romney offers as much or more than they do, particularly with his experience in business at this point in time. He believes he’s the best person for the job, as do they. Furthermore, they have plenty more time. Why should Romney step down and get out of the way?

I think her “betterness” from the LDS shows all the time, not that it's hard.

I assume all Ex-Mormons are “kicked out” according to BB...

Elsie know the truth, and when it comes to politics, she also knows the difference between a Conservative and a wannabe as well.

She is persistent, even to the point of annoying to some, but she also states fact.
