Mitt Romney won the 2009 CPAC straw poll.
The GOP won’t win jack crap until they move the southern primaries up...until then we have blue states deciding our nominee because everyone drops out by the time the south is ready to vote.
“We should abide by the Constitution. No man should become President who is not a natural born citizen. If Obama is not be a natural born citizen, that sets no precedent to be followed in the future. One person successfully violating the law does render the law null and void.”
I agree.
Why would these dummies want to nominate someone who is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN like the demo dummies did with bo.
I guess the demos don’t have a monopoly on STUPIDITY.
Anyway I will not mention the name of that 3rd rate governor from that 3rd rate state because he has no chance of being POTUS. Not only is he NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN but he is a LOUSY speaker and he is GOOFY looking!
SARAH PALIN 2012!
Well, the good thing is most CPAC attendees haven’t lost their minds.
ROTFLOL.
Is Romney every responsible for anything Romney did?
Exhibit 1:
"Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans,
has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced,
instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who
have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats
or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians
or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show.
In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters,
and 14 registered Democrats."

and this
Romney Rewards one of the State's Leading Anti-Marriage Attorneys by Making him a Judge
Romney told the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2004, that the "real threat to the States is not the
constitutional amendment process, in which the states participate,
but activist judges who disregard the law and redefine marriage . . ."
Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys. He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."

and then this.....
"Romney announces he won't fill judicial vacancies before term ends
Despite his rhetoric about judicial activism, Romney announced that
he won't fill all the remaining vacancies during his term - but instead
leave them for his liberal Democrat successor!
Governor Mitt Romney pledged yesterday not to make a flurry of lame-duck
judicial appointments in the final days of his administration . . . David Yas,
editor of Lawyers Weekly, said Romney is "bucking tradition" by resisting the urge to
fill all remaining judgeships. "It is a tradition for governors to use that power to appoint judges
aggressively in the waning moments of their administration," Yas said.
He added that Romney has been criticized for failing to make judicial appointments.
"The legal community has consistently criticized him for not filling open seats quickly enough
and being a little too painstaking in the process and being dismissive of the input of the
Judicial Nominating Commission," Yas said.

And how about this?
The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

Actually, McCain out polled Romney in the primaries, hence we wound up with McStupid on the ticket. Not suggesting that Romney is the ideal conservative nor that he should be the GOP candidate in 2012. Afterall, he is 62 and will be 66 the next go around. I believe, to paraphrase a biblical line, “there is a time and season for every man (woman) and Romney's season has passed him by. I am merely pointing out that conservatives probably would have won with Romney but those who were too small minded to accept him because he is a Morman cost the GOP the election. And, being that converatives have a penchant for shooting themselves in the, uhh foot, will probably do it again, and again, and again...
I just realized Mr. Romney looks like “Jack” from “Lost.”
Dude nice collection but you might have too much time on your hands!!!! Wow. I am going to refer Mitt questions to you!!!

Probe: Mitt missed chance to keep Tavares jailed - Could have nixed killers early exit
Friday, December 28, 2007 - Boston Herald
"Former Gov. Mitt Romneys administration failed to act on disciplinary recommendations
that would have kept ex-con killer Daniel Tavares locked up another year -
and behind bars at the time he was accused of killing a newlywed couple in Washington state."
"Despite Tavares long history of violence, the Romney-led Department of Correction
took no action on recommendations that he be stripped of good time because
of assaults on prison guards in 2003 and 2005, said sources familiar with a state probe into the case."
Why are you addressing this slur to me? I responded to his nonsense. I did not join in it. I’m not a troll.
As you may or may not know, nearly all of the threads I post and participate in are pro-life in nature.
I was posting threads about Governor Palin long before 95% of the people here (and probably you included) had a clue who she even was. I was openly stating that she was my first choice as the VP nominee months before her nomination was announced. I can PROVE all of this.
Did you know ANYTHING about Sarah Palin or even who she was prior to Labor Day weekend of last year? (Not that I expect an answer to this question, you seem to prefer invectives over answers.)
Thanks 4 the Truth re: romney! Never liked him. He’s too old and he is a LOUSY LIBERAL!

Only the Romneybots would think that LOSING 80% of the vote is a victory.
I know, I just copied you because I was responding to the troll's response to you. :-)
“The GOP wont win jack crap until they move the southern primaries up...until then we have blue states deciding our nominee because everyone drops out by the time the south is ready to vote.”
How can this be changed? Can it be done at the state level? If so....there is your real tea party!
I think Iowa law requires them to go first and New Hampshire will always follow a few days later. However, I agree that the best thing would be for southern and traditionally conservative states to hold primaries the Tuesday after New Hampshire.
I predicted, on another Blog, that McCain would pick a woman, and I listed Palin as the best choice he could make for himself.
