The 1967 Therapeutic Abortion Act that Reagan signed into law as Governor of California, DID NOT grant abortions on demand. It was advertised as a compassionate law that would be used to deal with the difficult abortion cases. Specifically, it was limited to exceptions for substantial risk that would gravely impair the physical or mental health of the woman, along with exceptions for rape and incest.
Problem was, California's liberal medical community and psychiatric discipline saw this new law as an opportunity to promote and advance the abortion agenda.

Please, let's not assume anything about our next Presidential candidate. Let's make sure he/she is an Article II natural-born citizen, beyond any doubt.
