Check out the video below, where WKYC investigative reporter Tom Meyer spoke with Greg Steffey, whose wife, Hope Steffey called 911 after she was assaulted by her cousin. Things took a turn for the worst when the police arrived and treated Hope as the perpetrator. She was arrested, taken to jail, and subjected to a humiliating full-body strip search by both male and female officers, violating the sheriff department's own policy that a strip search be conducted by an officer of the same sex. Hope was then left naked in a cell for six hours. Included in the news segment was video footage of the strip search....

If it pans out as true, the entire department should be fired.
I’d like to know where the rest of that footage is and WHY were so MANY officers, video camera in hand, walking her to a cell? Something stinks and I hope that the truth comes out.
2009 Government Goon
I hope there’s more to the story. From what what we see so far this lady will win the lawsuit and some deputies and possibly the Sherrif should lose their jobs. Disturbing video.
I hope that this woman and her husband don’t have to work another day in their lives. Dear God in heaven, what the heck is happening to our country that people like this get to wear a badge?
This has got to be the most horrendous case of jack-booted thuggery I have ever witnessed. If that deputy was “confused” as to who was the perp, then maybe he should try another line of work!
Hoping, however, for our state AG to do something about this, is too much to ask. Strickland and his cronies are a bunch of ostriches.
Ohio ping!
Little men doing what little men do. Disgusting for real officers.
If this as it appears, they should loose more than their jobs. They should loose their freedom. In a place where they can have all the groping and sex they want, and then some.
Female officers not only participated, but actually filmed this atrocity.
These women should be lookinbg for new jobs as Security at a Dyke bar.
Its a crime to be intoxicated in your own home? Resisting arrest and disorderly conduct? A lot of women tend to resist and act disorderly when held down and stripped by a group of men, are they also being charged?
And taking away clothing doesn't prevent suicide. Someone watching the individual prevents suicide. Certainly conducting what would be considered a sexual assault and leaving a woman naked in a cell for six hours might make a woman suicidal.
...From the cops!
Of course, I'm sure we are about to be treated to several really good "explanations" about why this was necessary./s
They better not call me to be on the jury when these officers go on trial for rape!!!!!!!
The problem with this whole circus is that the taxpayers will pay for this and none of these officers will lose their homes.
Sorry, if that ever happened to my wife, I’d have to hunt down and execute every last one of the LEOs involved.
Sexual assault under color of authority — among other charges. They should be behind bars, every one of them.
Damn... just damn...
