Washington Post staff writer Paul Farhi penned a nasty little critique of Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher in Thursday's paper, deriding the conservative critic of Barack Obama as "a leftover artifact from a forgotten time." Grouping Wurzelbacher in with other "campaign distractions," Farhi panned, "He's Clara Peller, Willie Horton or Gennifer Flowers -- names that are the questions in a 'Jeopardy!' category called 'Presidential Campaign Distractions.'" (Of course, Wurzelbacher's "distraction" was to challenge the economic policy of Obama.)

when he was videotaped confronting Barack Obama about his small-business tax plans. He later called Obama's plans "socialism."
I *l*o*v*e* it when the liberal media pulls this BS. The redistribution of wealth is straight out of Marx' handbook. But that doesn't matter to any liberally biased journalist. Most journalists start out with the view that liberalism is correct and conservatism is wrong and divisive.......... all conservatives are liars. Even when the media double and quadruple fact checks a conservative, we're *STILL* liars.
This comment is indicative of that mindset. No no, it's not really that Joe told the truth; it's not really that it's socialism, That's just the criticism of some. I'll bet that this liberal journalist never bothered to even see if that comment was correct. He just knew in his heart of hearts that because a conservative said it, it was a lie.
Hopefully the Washington Pest will soon go the way of the Rocky Mountain News.
Washington Post is a ‘Leftover Artifact’ From the age of unheated outhouses.
Cindy Sheehan comes to mind also .....

ROFLMAO! I love it!
This will help Joe. This is an example of “no such thing as negative press”, and the same thing is also true with the left’s continued negative attacks upon Rush Limbaugh.
Don’t you just feel their love.
Soon Joe Farhi will be a forgotten relic from the media while Joe the Plumber will still be a national hero.
Paul Farthi, hmmm. I think we may need a big plunger to clear the drain of this guy. Anyone know a good plumber? Oh, never mind....
Let’s wait about 6 months, right about the time we are waist deep in the stimulus and then replay Joe the Plumber’s question to the O and his concerns with increased taxes. And see if Joe’s concerns were valid. My money’s on Joe.
“a leftover artifact from a forgotten time.”
You know...back when truth meant something to newspapers.
Funny that, they're still talking about him. Guess he's still relevant.
This from the clinging artifact of the 19th century.
“a leftover artifact from a forgotten time.”
Actually Joe just might be the spark of the Boston Tea Parties which seem to be catching steam.
What’s WaPo going to say when a million of us show up on the mall and demand Obamachev shove his taxes up his skinny black ass?
Oh, I’m sure the Washington Post WISHES they’ve seen the last of “Joe the Plumber”!
The news is incredibly rude. They were laughing at him because they claim he only sold 5 books at a book signing. First of all why would they make fun of someone just because they could not sell books AND why is that news anyway.
