The public may have liked the presidents big speech, but the GOP isnt worried. Insiders say theyre raring for a fight, and that they think Obamas in a very vulnerable position.
...
I feel sorry for him sometimes, confided a senior Republican House member about President Obama. He invited us over to the White House to explain to us how the stimulus plan is working, and how the budget is going to work, and he spoke to us a couple of times. He doesnt act like he knows whats going on with the economy. Hes so afraid of confrontation, when you challenge him, he backs off, like he doesnt know the right answer. Who does? Thats why you kinda feel sorry for him. Not his guys, they dont act like they know. Do they notice the stock market sinking? Who doesnt? Theres this sense of disarray. The administration is made up of a lot of Number twos. The only one with any gravitas is [David] Axelrod. Geithner? He looks like hes 12-years-old, or a grad student. The president is like a perfect vice president. Thats what the big speech was like. A vice president was talking.

The GOP is dead - sorry guys that is the way I see it, and here is the irrefutable proof
A democracy is always temporary in nature: it simple cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority will always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.
The Universities now rule the roost - they have done a magnificent job for SOCIALISM. We are heading there at breakneck speed. The GOP has no chance of stopping this unless they take to the streets, not when you have Maine RINO twins and Spectator in the Senate. The Senate was to be the firewall - see how well that is working? I rest my case.

Like fine wine, this must age. But don’t worry. It’s not that fine and will not have to age that long.
Check back in about three months.

Obama may be weak, but he isn’t our opponent. There are folks behind who are NOT weak, subtle, sly and evil.

509 promises made by BHO during the election cycle.
Who will make a good benevolent dictator?
That’s where we’re going. Once you feed the masses this ‘progressive’ pablum, they’re brainwashed for life, thinking there really is a free lunch!

Well stop feeling sorry for him and govern as conservatives!
To: SonOfDarkSkies
This is an idiotic article - of course BHO doesn’t know how the economy works, he wants to destroy our economy and transform us into a socialist state willing and ready to take orders (for the common good) from the U.N.
let’s not kid ourselves, the next four years are going to be very difficult if we are successful in our fighting back. If we’re not successful in some of the early years, by the third year of the BHO presidency the Hammer and Sickle will be flying over the White House.

Make no mistake about this, fellow Freepers: The nation and the world will soon twig to the notion that Mr. Obama has never been out of the shallow end of the pool.
And the press will turn on him, at some point.
