I can't tell you how disgusted I feel. We have sold our freedoms out to the point that I fear we cannot reclaim them.
What a joke. In the Obammunists hometown of Chicago, they dump green dye into the river, on St. Patricks day, to DISCOLOR it from one color of green to another.
It'd work here in a heartbeat too.
Pour green paint on the capital steps.
Do it anyway...and show up wearing a symbolic “Empty Holster” as well.
A little Civil Disobediance goes a long way to get a point across.
Dump the tea. Anyone objecting had better know how to swim.
We can put it in our bodies; but not water.
Just go to the site of a RAT get-together and pick up all the trash they leave on the ground and throw it in the river.
“Don’t do that!”
Kinda obviates the whole protest thing, no? Maybe somebody shouldn’t have spilled the beans about spilling the tea.
They'say this "tea party" is merely feel-good symbolism that while providing a diversion for the
media on a typically non-news day, will do nothing to persuade those who hold the reins of power -
The One and the democRAT/RINO infested Congress.
Now maybe if all across the country, public officials were tarred and feathered, including
environmental bureaucrats, and their automobiles and SUV's rolled over and thrown in rivers...
British officials fleeing from rioting colonists expressing revolutionary sentiments in opposition to the Stamp
Act imposed by British Parliament with object of raising revenue in America.
Tea no good? How about we wait until July 4 and then dump the stuff in their backyard pools?
And how about we use cater-sized bags of tomato paste instead of tea bags?
IF ONLY THE BRITISH HAD THOUGHT OF THIS!!!!
I kinda feel the same way about the Presidency.
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. — C. S. Lewis
I agree and that is why I never use water in my tea. I more often than not use a couple shots of Knob Creek.
Dump the tea anyway.
The group in Cedar Rapids is protesting a 1-cent local option sales tax to go before voters Tuesday. Most of the money (17-18 million forecast) is to go for housing assistance and buyouts of homes that were destroyed BY THE RIVER!?!? in the June 2008 flood.
I don’t think a little tea is going to hurt the river.
Not only should tea be dumped now the protesters should get a LOT more of it now to protest the banning of tea being dumped.
Where would we be today as a country if the EPA was alive back in the 1700’s?
I guess this means that the redcoats will be out in force. Dump away, patriots! The troops of our new king wouldn’t dare start another Boston(esque) Massacre. Or would they?
