As far as I know, it's not illegal for anyone to possess it and it's available if you look around. Gunbroker has it. I've seen it in shops.

Bet on the new standard being along the lines of the Kennedy performance ban. For decades, that fat bloated sot has been trying to get ammo outlawed by the criteria of whether or not it'd penetrate class 2a soft body-armor.

That's any rifle caliber hotter than a .22lr. That's why there was such a stink about the 5.7N. The ammo is hot enough to exceed the ratings on 2A armor. Then again, my .357 and my 10mm (with Norma spec hotloads) both meet that criteria as well.

I agree that we should all be prepared by owning a gun for home protection and to protect our rights as a free country. I have several and many rounds of ammunitions.

My only fear is the system will fail because of the mentality many have that I want you to do it and not me.
