On Feb. 18th of 2009, Mr. Robinson posted a thread entitled, Call to action:Possible Action Items for FReeper Conventions. Please consider this both a call for other state chapters to organize, and for the Ohio board to begin organizing local meetings geared towards an eventual freeper grassroots action convention.
Now, it is only a personal suggestion that we start at a local level, if you believe that your board already has sufficient cohesion to begin organizing at a state or regional level, then go for it.
As conservatives of different stripes, its our right to act as individuals, however, its this same love of personal freedom which is under attack, therefore, lets try and put aside our differences and work together to roll back this socialist assault on our way of life. A logical first step would be to establish ties at a local level,do you aggree?
It doesn't do HMTL, so you have to double space for paragraphs, etc.
You can put links in by just cutting and pasting
Good luck!
cool
thanks for the update
I used to live in NE Ohio, but I’m kinda far away now lol.
Headed there now.
Sorry...don’t know how I got your name.
no problem, don’t worry
I am a Lake County resident and may be interested in attending your meeting. For the near term will only be available on Friday and Saturdays. If I can suggest that the meeting place were close to a Rt 90 exit you may pull in a few other Lake County folks.
Columbus here!!
As relates to the Stimulus bill..just an FYI....I’ve been made aware of the following, for FReepers who are interested and would like to join in. Grass Roots Rally Team is out of Lake County, Ohio...I’ve provided a link to their website:
“Hello concerned citizens, The Grass Roots Rally Team will picket Senator Sherrod Brown’s Cleveland office to reinforce the procedure employers should use to verify that new hires are actually U.S. citizens. Jobs in America should go to Americans first.
Please join our group in this event. Details are below:

I have also posted more detail on the state board.
Thanks for the pingee.
Yea, I like the idea of having a local get together first. My work schedule does not allow lots of open time these days.
Currently, someone has offered their place of business as a meeting place and would require taking I-90, exiting on Rte. 11 for a short distance.
I was hoping the Lake County FReepers would be inclined to hook up with us, as opposed to getting into the Cleveland mess. LOL! Ideally, the Madsion area would be a central location for meetings once we get organized!
Will update info as I get it on the Ohio board.
Thanks Kimberly! I may try to make this one.
Same here. I do not have the time or energy for frivolous get togethers. It is time to organize and fight back!
I will keep you posted as events unfold. Hopefully, there will be times you will be able to attend.
Whos she talking about? I think it would be more successful, more numbers, if we coordinate with others. I know theyre out there!

They’re a great group....but you should know that they are not just conservatives, but a dedicated, bipartisan mix who’s goal is to fight against comprehensive immigration reform/amnesty, etc. I grew up in Wickliffe and remember well what Lake County USED to be like...and much has changed!
Works for me!!!
We need to join forces when we do agree on an issue!
See post #48.
I believe you can post on any board, but you need to temporally change your state of residence, to post and to delete on those boards.
